I have bought a lavatube v2 with 18650 battery is this the best charger for it or is there others?

Not sure on protected or unprotected, i would guess unprotected.

As for chargers the nitecore i4 or i2 are very highly regarded.

This is the charger I have and use almost daily, although I paid about £23 some 6 months ago from Ebay. Mine came with a UK plug which I accidently stood on and broke the earth pin. I cut of the old plug and put on a new UK plug. You may have to do the same (not the standing on the plug part ) as it may come from Fasttech with a 2 pin non UK plug.

Could you use one of those travel adapters with it Greigster if it does come with a 2 pin plug?
