For those wanting to check Evod ohms on a Vamo

So everyone with a Vamo and evod will know the 50/50 story of it working and not working...

If you're one of the many whos evod doesnt work in the vamo without a 510 connector; I found yesterday that if you screw just the evod base onto the Vamo, you can get an ohm reading and fire your coils to check for hot spots It is a little awkward to screw it all the way down with no tank/chamber to grip, but its doable.
You might not be able to use it for vaping...but least you can check your recoils!

Now if only I could find my 510 connector hiding under my car seat somewhere...

For a lot, it's not that it doesn't work, it's the fact that there is no airflow that is the problem. I have to use an adaptor to vape an Evod, but not to check ohms.

Ahh...I get absolutely nothing from mine! No contact at all. I thought if some people are in the same boat at least it'll help.

Nothing a £2 510 connector won't fix though I guess!

Just goes to show the variation in Vamos and Evods I suppose. But if you get a contact with just the base you should still get it with the tank on???? Really odd that. ???

Yeah you'd think so! :S

I just tried again right now, screwing as tight as I dare....still nothing. My evod has a black matt coating, I can only guess it's too thick to screw down all the way because of this.
