Kanger Tank and Ohms

Hi guys, last night for the 1st time I re-wicked and coiled the Kanger with Eklwool 2mm and .20 kath and got a lovely 1.5ohms. I added some 2mm silca on top of the coil as I read somewhere this helps with some issues.
All going really well at 8w. Probably the best it's been.

Then I left it for some time and got 9.9ohms reading on the vamo, it was too late to do worry about. Anyway I tried it to today and got 3.2ohms with a lot of wetness. I am wondering if it's wicking too much to causing this? Can anyone shed some light here? As always thanks...

The liquid and the extra wick shouldn`t affect the resistance of the coil, try cleaning and drying the connector on the device and on your atty and re try. You have a bad connection somewhere

It's probably a tail end of the coil that you have trimmed near the rubber bung that could be sticking out and causing a short use a pin to push the wire back into the bung

Taz and Robbie, thanks got it going, the Ohms are up and down but stabilising at 1.7ohms so I guess it was the wire and giving it a good dry on the connections, seems to be going well now thanks
