Struggling with vaping

Hi Everyone,

been vaping for just over a month now but am really struggling to give up the stinkies, still smoking everyday (no where near as much but......) have tried loads of flavours and different strengths but am still struggling, any advice etc would be welcome, will just add gojng thought a really stressful time at the moment, but hey no excuse.

also am using clearomizer on ego 1100 battery,but am wondering what is the best setup, a happy to spend some money on getting it right as really want to give up the stinkies, are atomiser better than cleromizers ? Or maybe upgrade to a more full on kit, or stronger liquid maybe......and advice or help would be really great guys

ps juice strength is around 20 mg sometimes 18 somtimes 24

Well that's the stupid thing, when I smoke a fag, I look at it and go apart from the taste I got nothing out of it, this may be prompted by all my clearomizer s leaking this morning as well uuuurrrrggghhhh

Hubby gave up very gradually too. He cut down immediately, but he still has a stinky now and then. He found that concentrating on giving up the stinkies made him smoke more. By relaxing, and letting himself enjoy vaping in of itself, it happened naturally all by itself. I think the big break through for him, was getting his pipe, which he loves and sits better in his hand than a normal cig, once he got that the stinkies simply didn't match up. Don't panic, give it time, and try messing with your equipment until you find something that "feels" right for you.

For him throat hit was an issue. Nicotine affects throat hit, but so do the ohms of your atty and the liquid you are using (pg tends to give more th, and some flavours give a lot more than others).

If it is the feeling you get in your throat when you vape that isn't right, try a vv battery and/or a lower ohm atty (and some different liquids )

Chain vape through those time of really wanting an analog, with about five clearos filled with different flavours - thats what works for me.

Yes this true, but really don't enjoy, or get a good hit from it which annoys me lol

I suppose I was wondering if I made some tweaks to my setup that it might finally be enough to finally get over the edge, I have even got annoyed with cleaning my clearomizer s lol

You've not really answered my question:

Do you find the throat hit lacking?
The vapour lacking?
Do you still get cravings for nicotine when vaping?

If you can answer this we may be able to help, otherwise it'll just be guesses.

Sorry loads of answer coming getting confused lol,throat hit and taste mainly, have tried lower resistance clearo's and switch to vv on my battery but still not quite there, don't get nicotine cravings as such when vaping, as in if I have a smoke I don't feel better than vaping, if that makes sense ?

chain vape with 24mg when your head explodes you know you have more than enough nic thats what i did.
If you have fags to hand you will never give up. When you only have vaping and nothing else to fall back on you will be ok.
3 months on i had a puff on someones fag and it tasted bad really bad like old twigs and damp leaves never again. I must have been mad when i started smoking 30 years ago to put up with that foul taste

Finding the right liquid was also essential for hubby, that took a while ......... Now he vapes only one flavour and all the time. That wouldn't wok for me, but everyone is different

Tobacco flavours often have more throat hit, and things like menthol pack a punch too. I can't help any more on that front, as the further away from the stinkies I get the less and less I want any true throat hit at all.

Sounds to me like you haven't found the right juice yet, stick with it

Ok, well you have done the right thing by using low resistance heads, I don't think your battery is a VV device?

Look for mainly PG liquids as this will give you more throat hit.
Try a "hot" based or strong flavour like menthol, cinnamon, or aniseed.

Your nicotine is ok so no need to change that.

Some clearomisers do strip out the flavour a bit.
I would try a 1.8 ohm Evod, bags of flavour, loads of vapour and last ages with minimum maintenance or a Vivi Nova.

Or for a cheap way of getting lots of flavour you could try getting a dripping atomiser.

Think that could be the problem but am worried I am running out of ones to try lol.....might have to mix my own....that said am on royals at the moment which I am enjoying just need to up the strength maybe

Mini novas are good, and not as clunky as the full sized version. Evods are great too. iClear16s are the love of my life. You don't say what clearo you are using, but i'm guessing it is a CE4. They are great to start with, but they have their quirks. The aforementioned alternatives are a lot more reliable and satisfying
