Jono, it's a while since I bought any VG, but the last time I did, I bought a 100ml bottle from Boots for about £1.20. Other chemists may be even cheaper.

Hi Jono - welcome from me too. We don't look down on anyone here - even sneers are rare I used to smoke small cigars as well and spent months (and a fortune!) trying every "cigar" flavoured juice I could lay my hands on - none of them tasted remotely like cigars and the worst ones tasted to me like a mixture of nuts and Oxo There are one or two tobacco steep based juices around that are about the closest you can get - but they are not cheap and can be hard to get. Eventually I found a few cheap tobacco juices that work for me and mixing your own can work well too. Good luck with your vaping journey!

Your observations confirm my suspiscions... to get cigar taste you have to smoke a cigar!
Well, if it was just an occasional treat I suppose it might be ok. It's a shame though, as that rather goes against one of the main benefits of vaping - the elimination of tobacco products. Here in the UK, the number of ciggy/rollie smokers vastly outnumbers cigar smokers. Cigar smokers have very little choice at most tobacconists, and as you will surely know, we have not been well catered for. Likewise when it comes to eJuice. What to do? Don't know really. When my mixing stuff arrives from LT I might try mixing RY4 with a little Licorice. It might be nice. Or it might taste like a licorice-flavoured fag packet. We shall see!
I know. I could try steeping a part-smoked cigar in a little VG base or something. Now that's a thought...
Cheers Jono

Make up a 2ml sample of each so you can get an idea of the flavours maybe?
