Ha ha ha! As it happens I added the word "shinyitis" at Urban Dictionary a few days ago. Incredibly, the word seems to have hardly made it very far from the vaping world.

The term originated on the vaping forums. Vaping is the (sometimes obsessive) utilisation of electronic cigarettes.

Hi Jono,

I'm using a variety ego batteries with V3 rebuildables on them and it's keeping me off the stinkies, I have had to buy more because my Mr wanted to give it a go too.

I'm saving up for a mod, not sure which maybe an evic, using the money I would have spent on smoking. I try to keep my vaping costs to a minimum so I also mix my own juices. Doing that I have found my all day vape, chocolate coconut

Hi jono, we've got all kinds of vapers here and none are looked down on. Of course some of the more afflicted ones are looked at with something like pity

Ahhh, thanks everyone for welcoming me. Really lovely.

I stopped my vaping at about 830 last night and I did sleep a bit better. That reminds me, someone mentioned something called Nicotine Dreams yesterday. I must Google it... sounds like a good film...

My mixing stuff should arrive soon, I plan to mix some low-nic or no-nic stuff for the evenings so I can still enjoy the therapy of vaping right up to bed-time.

In an idle moment (and I do get rather a lot of these) I wondered how much it would have cost me to buy some plain VG at supermarkets.
Along with my other items, I paid £2.40 for 100ml at LT eCigs - I am not complaining about this as they will pick the bottle for me, wrap it and send it to me and all I will do is sit here, surf the net and let it arrive at my front door. So I think that's rather good of them.

But... what about those supermarkets?
Well, as mentioned in lots of places at AAEC, it comes in 38ml bottles at supermarkets.
- Asda Own Brand 84p (221p/100ml)
- Tesco Dr Oetker 65p (171p/100ml)
- Sainsburys Dr Oetker 81p (213p/100ml)

So, Einstein, the winner is... Tesco!

The wooden spoon goes to Asda for charging a stinkin fortune (relatively speaking - Einstein again!) for an own-brand product.
Sainsburys don't get off lightly either. They get a smacked botty for charging nearly 25% more than Tesco for precisely the same item.

I know I could get it even cheaper at a chemists, but they can be the subject of another trivial post some time.
