Doing something wrong?

Ok so last night something wasn't clicking for me. I was getting throat hit but no vapour. I put on a fresh battery and filled the cartridge but no matter how I tried to vape I just wasn't getting any satisfaction.

I was even more disappointed because I filled Mike's cart up with the liquid I was using and he said "mmm tastes like bubblegum, have a go" and on the super mini there was loads of flavour, vapour and throat hit. I was at this point pretty disheartened and I have no idea what is going wrong!! I just do not seem to be able to inhale hard and deep enough to get what i'm after.

Anyone have any advice whatsoever???

Have you tried adding a couple of drops of juice directly into the atomiser Collie?

That's what I'd say too. This vaping lark can be very frustrating, you get die-offs for no apparent reason, and similarly rebirths

I'll give that a try. I ended up smoking a few analogues last night because I just got so frustrated with it. Tried again this morning and it still isn't playing ball. I hope this works!!

Collie, out of interest, how many drops are you putting in the cartridge (roughly) ?

I haven't been counting lol just until it is full probably 9/10. I tried a few drops on the atty and it's made it a bit better.

I'm wondering if it's the way i'm vaping. When I smoke I take it into my mouth first and then inhale it and if I do that with the e-cig I get bugger all throat hit and vapour. If I just inhale it straight into my lungs I get a throat hit but it makes me cough and I get more vapour.

Are you taking long slow drags? My wife draws too hard and fast no matter how many times I try to explain it to her. She ends up with zero vapour too.

I try to take long slow drags but then I don't seem to be sucking hard enough to get anything at all. It's like my mouth/lungs just aren't big enough to inhale for long enough to get anything. If i blow slightly before I inhale it's a bit better but again the super mini seems to get a hell of a lot more vapour and throat hit which is really bugging me.

Could it be because the super mini only has 1 hole for the air to be sucked through but the 510 has 4??

have you tried a different attomiser. I had a 2ohm that was firing, glowing red but did not give me anything, put another 2ohm on and I was eating vapour for lunch.

Only got the one atomiser at the moment as this is the one that came in the starter kit.

I'm just getting so frustrated now. I don't understand why it isn't working properly!

Might you have flooded it, Collie? Easily done. Take it apart and dry the joints, to start with

Next question is it PG that gives the throat hit?

Very generally speaking, PG = throat hit, VG = vapour. So you can do 60/40, 40/60, etc etc, to suit your taste.

If you want to experiment at home you could buy two identical flavour and strength juices, one PG and one VG, and mix Once you start diluting with plain PG or VG you get the "flavour needs topping up" problem, sending you on another quest

That's a good idea. Hadn't though of doing it that way. I think I want slightly less TH and a bit more vapour. I think I am going to have to practice and amend my vaping style a bit lol

If it bubbles like a bong its flooded. I despise flooded atties. Take it off blow it out, blowing through the open end with the contact end in a tissue and try again. Never had a super mini, get a tornegova battery and I can send you some cartos
