I took it out today for a puff and I'm very disappointed in the fact you can’t see the display even in cloudy weather.
Is there any way you can switch off the bit on the device so it doesn't go into stand by mode?
Today I was clicking like mad without being able to see if it had fired up, even trying to cover it up with your hand didn't work still couldn't see the display. I know its 5 clicks and away you go but it doesn't always work. I will have to stick to the Provari when out in future.

Thanks all, Romelee, from your image and Fiddles info I have now been able to switch it over to log out from 30min. Mine was set to customize so it was switching off every 5 min I think.
So that sorted is there anyway we can brighten up the display? That is such a downer on the Evic.
Also anyone knows how or if we are able to put our name on it? There is in the menu a section under device that says Mr

You really need to spend some time investigating that MVR program lol Yes you can put your name in mate, it's one of the options in device info The display, sadly, is fixed for brightness though

Do I need to use the usb and go the there web-site and up-load something? Sorry if I’m coming over thick… but that’s because I am. I’m also useless at technical stuff.

You need to go into the software and then into MVR.

I've got an evic. I dropped it once and it's not been right since - it decides to power off when it feels like it. Shame really as otherwise they are great products. I love it! I've just bought another one! I particularly like the fact I get such strange looks using it when out and about. My wife thinks it looks like it should belong in a lady's handbag and that when powered on it should vibrate! Doh! oops!
