Ikea I hate you

So, off we went to Lakeside intending to buy curtains, wallpaper and maybe some cushions for the beautiful Laura Ashley sofa I picked up for a steal on Flea Bay yesterday.
As we got down there i suggested we take a look in ikea. I don't like it there. Haven't been in years. Big big big mistake!!
Spent two and a half hours of my time spent nearly £100 and didn't get a single thing I went in for!!
The only justifiable thing was a small slide out set of drawers on wheels to put all my mixing gear in. The rest?
A pink daisy bedroom light for when my grandaughter stays.
A four person funky floral dinner set ....WHY? Coz its pretty
Long shoe horn...ok it useful as I can't bend down
Chopping board
Glasses

FGS!! .... I will never go in there again icon_shoppingm

And I still have to go hunt for what I went out for in the first place.

We have 2 of those pink flower lights in my daughters room, they are cute. But I agree Ikea is evil!! icon_shoppingm

Yes they are very cute. I have two single beds in the room and figured I would place it between them above the bedside cabinet. She is only 5 and refuses to go to sleep without a light on.

I admit to having a coffee and very nice strawberry tart. Shouldn't be eating sugary stuff but my excuse is I was stressed at spending only under the watch ful eye of his nibs lol

BTW... Hate their meatballs.

Good stay away. It's full of rubbish you somehow can't help but buy.
To be fair though, very impressed with my wheelie vaping cabinet. It only took Mr Dolly and hour and forty mins to put together, and there was only a modicum of foul language

We've a mega branch just down the Motorway as well Dolly . . . but I hate shopping ( unless it's on the internet ) and can't be bothered reading instructions for anything.

So it's a no go zone for me really.
