By all means use the pic @sadie22 thought there's a difference in the threads I've not had issues on my mods just thought I'd highlight a possible cause to problems posted in this thread

It's deffo it @tazmania441 ,i checked all my faulty ones that won't work on my eVic and twists and they all had one thing in common, the short thread, the ones that do work all have the longer thread, i would of done a piccy but your camera close up piccys make mine look like a zx spectrum

Yes!

If I need to expressly engage an evod on an evic, I'll also use an ego adapter. Entreatingly eponymous. (Don't know what it means, just slips of the tongue)

I done the exact same thing as you Kibbster, got my new evic, popped a evod on, no atomizer found, unscrewed it of and juice all over my new evic , had to use pliers to unsure the evod base of, but ive popped a 510 / ego adapter on , then an evod and it works fine

Sadie, I keep doing the flooding thing by mistakenly unscrewing the wrong part of the base. Must have done at least half a dozen times now!!
I have two i got from you, and one branded one. Can't remember where I got it.
Just want to let people know that both versions fit my ego twists and spinners, plus the Smoktech SID. None of them fit my Zmax.

Funny thing is even though it only fits on one battery, luckily it;s a battery I always use day to day - it's still brilliant.
Looks nice, easier to fill than the MT3, more airy than the MT3 and vapes really well.
I would buy another even though I can't use it on my mods.
If it worked on everything it would be almost perfect.
I suppose I could buy a couple of bases but the chances are I'd get the same base that doesn't fit anything apart from original Egos.

Strangely even though it will only work on two of my batteries I've just ordered another and a pack of 5 heads for them.

The best vape I've had in a long time and if it means I can't use my MVP or Evic till I get an adaptor... so be it
