Evod being a sod

Got my first Evod today, slammed some juice in, stuck it on my MVP and nada.
Dead as a doornail.

Put it on my Evic, said No atomizer found.
When unscrewing it base was left behind on the Evic, juice everywhere 

Was about to phone supplier and let them know it was DOA but thought I'd give a quick try on one of my Ego-T 650s... perfect.
Lovely vape.

Tried again on MVP and Evic and nothing.

eh?

Anyone else had problems with Evods on certain devices?

I am 99% sure it's the base not screwing all the way down, i had to buy 3 bases the other day as 3 out of my 14 Evods would fit on the twist but not the eVic and some visa versa.

Forgot too add i have informed Bomber about this to ask the vendor to speak to the manufacturer about this because of the group buy going on.

Some of mine are the same, work on some batteries not on others

Some evod bases have more ego threads than others not sure why and these are from the same vendor so must be a QC thing.

I have problems on my MVP I can get it to fire up by pulling up the centre pin but I don't like doing it

That's the branded one the other is un branded from same vendor. I would like to see the bases that vendors are selling to see what threads they come with.

Got mine today. Has the long thread. Then again, it doesn't say EVOD on it (it's black if that makes a difference).

Forgot to buy an adapter for it and I'm too mean to pay £2 post on a £2-50 item, so it'll have to stay on my ego, like yours, until I can think of an excuse to buy something else.

I done the exact same thing as you Kibbster, got my new evic, popped a evod on, no atomizer found, unscrewed it of and juice all over my new evic , had to use pliers to unsure the evod base of, but ive popped a 510 / ego adapter on , then an evod and it works fine

You might wanna check your Evods as that one you sent me had a dodgy base (Didn't bother me as i was ordering 3 bases from you anyway to fix some of my other Evods)

Gotta look at the piccy above (left Evod), if the thread is too small it's dodgy and won't work on all devices.

I'l have a look at them, all the evods come originally from kangertech so i will send them a email and if its ok, can i use your picture Taz ? and send the picture to them.
