Have all the avatars grown?

Everyones avatars seem to have got bigger.

Is it just my PC or have I changed a setting somewhere?

Before I logged in, my own avatar was about 8 inches square. It's shrunk now that I have logged in, but everyones looks bigger than normal.

I think there might be some site maintenance/tinkering going on.

A few minutes ago they were rather large, but now they are blue whales

I'm trying to find out what's happened.

Not all of them are bad, must be certain formats - see how modest my birdie still is - typical me

It's modest, yes, but central on my screen - all I could see was yours underneath mine ???

We've been trying to give members more scope for their avatars and for posting pics without worrying about them stretching the threads horizontally... something seems to have spontaneously combusted

Oops, sorry folks - I've been trying out some new codes to give us slightly larger avatars Everything looked fine when I first checked it out but I must have gone wrong somewhere as it keeps changing

I like the larger avatars, 100x100 always seemed a touch small.

We need to be able to admire Lee's attention to detail

I've removed the coding I used so sadly we are back to a max of 100x100 I'll try & find a different code.

Ok, I've found a new code - is it working OK for everyone? It should be giving a max avatar size of 15x150.


The reason the previous code wasn't working instantly without refreshing is due to the fact that some of you have such large sized avatars on your profiles. If you could resize these in photobucket it will speed up page downloads.
