In anticipation of a deluge of the baddest flavours known to the mixing world that have come oozing through my letterbox today (poor postie), I thought I would create a sister thread to the Bad Flavour Bank to chart the brave amongst us who will take on these evil tinctures and attempt to reform them.
Expect these naughty flavours to be teased into goodness and if all else fails, beaten into submission by copious quantities of Dulche De Leche, Mint, Malted Milk, Caramel, Ginger and if all else fails the baddest of them all, Smoked Hickory.
An open thread for all to post progress and recipes ... and photo's of grimacing ...
Also post also any photo's of ceremonial sink dumping for truly lost causes ...

Yesterday, I tried sweetening my cola mix with a few drops of RY4. Cola + Caramel: Yuck!
Edit: I just read the labels on your bottles. See no evil, hear no evil... taste no evil?

That's a batch of Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin Pie with some "additives", Carrot Cake, Caramel Corn, Golden Rollie, and an amended version codenamed "Golden Retriever" ... sampling tomorrow ... Just got back to my laptop .. am here. Feel a bit woozy from the mornings vape and this testing session ...
Right ... findings
I mixed each of these at 5% apart from the Golden Rollie at 2%. Not tried the Golden Retriever yet ... can't face more nic for an hour. I think I dropped a wee bit too much of the VG nic base for the Golden Rollie.
Pumpkin Pie @ 5% ... tastes of cloves with a mild pumpkin taste on the exhale - pumpkin is a mild taste to begin with but I reckon 10% plus with this will bring out too much clove. I suspect this is so mild that it's practically useless. Bear in mind this is only after 24hrs so that's likely to change. I didn't find it unpleasant to be honest. No taste of pie. I can imagine at 10% this would be grim.
I did an alternative mix with some additional flavours but overdid it with the Ginger. Am going to adjust the mix of the "Season Of The Witch" mix I made to counteract the Ginger if it doesn't calm down over the next week.
Carrot Cake @ 5% ... mild cinnamon mixed with dirt is the best I can describe this as - more like raw beetroot. No sweetness of icing sugar yet. If it does maintain it's earthiness, a good mix with this would be a dark chocolate and some cake batter possibly to make a Beetroot Cake (if anyone has eaten this, it's fab)
Caramel Corn @ 5% ... caramel and butter - similar to Butterkist (which isn't popcorn in my book). Wouldn't go over 5% with this and its likely to get stronger with steeping. Quite sickly. Could use like DDL possibly
Golden Rollie and Golden Retriever .... will repost findings once my nic levels have reduced.

Ash how about you name the final mixes after old defunct diseases? You could have a Scurvy mix, Rickets mix, Cholera mix etc etc....
