I'm from London originally.
I now live in Eastbourne . Beachy Head - where people still come from miles around to throw themselves off. So sad. Leapy Lee was born and raised in Eastbourne. Little Arrows in your clothes and little arrows in your hair, when you're in love you'll find those little arrows everywhere. I know.....plonker
When i lived in London (first 28 years of my life) George o'dowd (boy george) used to hang around with us. He was a bit different but you couldn't take the mickey out fo him too much cos he's brother was a very handy boxer. Once George was 15/16 he was off up town gender bending. Couldn't believe it when we first saw him on top of the pops. Two of my mates thought he/she was gorgeous.....lol.

Ok so Warrington we have Kerry Katona - Yuck bleurgh, horrid stuck up chav! George Sampson - BGT winner. Chris Evans, George Formby, Pete Postlethwaite, Sue Johnston of Royle Family fame, Darren Jeffries played OB in hollyoaks, Steven Arnold - Ashley Peacock in Corrie and Pete Waterman the Record producer.
Not bad for a town with only 194,000 residents lol

Stirling - place where uber scottish nationalists bang on about the battles with England that were won - Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn. Stirling castle is a regular stunt double for Edinburgh castle (Burke & Hare being the most recent). Similarly some of the streets are stunt doubles for Edinburgh streets (see above). Umm, Mary Queen of Scots was crowned at Stirling Castle. Has the most Phallic structure in the UK, those victorians and their prudish nature its only 67m tall and stands on a 110m crag. It is the Wallace Monument, you have to love the detail - the pair of small buildings nestling at the base, the slightly rippled vein running up one edge. Can't think of much else notable at the moment, lets face it most notable things about this town happened quite a while ago.

It is, I was a student at the Uni here for a year and a half before dropping out. Moved back about ten years ago since most of my friends are either here or in Edinburgh which is a short journey away (I also lived in Edinburgh for a while).

Yup, the Farrelly brothers, the famous Hollywood producers (There's Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin), are from Cumberland, RI, which is my home town, too.
Occasionally, they film parts of their movies, right here in Cumberland, which I hate, because all of those film production people, actors/actresses, etc. really disrupt the town.
Nope, I never met them. lol

I couldn't agree more Curtisdon. The tubular bandage is a lot quieter than a film crew. lol
