Difference in non-res wire types

Are there any differences between using silver or nickel for non-res legs ? Other than the price of course.

I'm thinking of toxicity etc, safety concerns et al.

So far as I know Mono, the main differences are that silver is softer/ more pliable and melts at a lower temperature. Personally I've only ever used nickel NR wire, so I can't speak from experience.

Pretty much price and I find the Ag to a bit brittle. But I use it because it is VERY easy to distinguish from resistance wire.
Pick up a length of each and see what you like better.

Silver if more pliable and easy to work with, but I only use Nichrome, Niobium or Kanthal wire now as I use these with my wire welder and the silver I have found is useless with the welder.

I'll get some nickel from Dee, she was good enough to bulk buy it to save us some pennies.

The stuff that dee has I use myself, it does the job nicely. So much so that I've just ordered another 50m from her.
I find the silver wire very pliable but very easy to work harden and snap if you go for that extra twist
You won't notice the difference in performance
