I just experienced my own dog bath time Vietnam. I have 2 boxer sized dogs and they honk, so it was bath time earlier. My dogs don't like bath time, they made sure I was reminded they don't like bath time. We fought for over an hour but now I( have 2 sweet smelling dogs, a wrecked bathroom and filthy wet clothes.
Any one else have large dog cleaning issues?

My housemate has 7 small dogs, but come bath time, they mutate into great danes.......... whenever I bath them, it's like doing 3 rounds with Mike Tyson........

I stopped even trying to bath my old Doberman, in the end it was a hosepipe job in the garden with some doggie shampoo. He didn't like that either but would grin and bear it but the bath was no way going to happen, I think he thought I was going to drown him when he saw the bath tub with water in it.. lol

Nope - they get clean in the river, or the lake or the sea. Job done

If my westie sees me with a towel on my head after my bath or shower, she runs and hides thinking its her turn next!

The big boy gets his in the river etc The middle two hate the actual bath and we are wetter than they are The little one is easy But they all love running around after and shaking themselves and rubbing in the carpet/furniture/bed and us to dry themselves before we can catch them with the towels and hair dryer

Eat your heart out MP2012. Mull was so small when he first arrived, he had to get washed in a Flower Pot or he would have gone down the plug hole!!! Now that he is a big boy, the sink is good enough.

That`s very weird, I have no problems when I get `Joan` (wife) into the bath. Hope she never sees this post, or I shall be `toast`. jeffc

Sammy I used to bath every couple of months . . . despite being a water dog, clean, soapy water wasn't quite so attractive to him. Got him a little paddling pool for the garden which he used to love having a splosh in . . . My current doggy goes to the Groomers every couple of months for a shampoo and clip, I let them have the mess now.
