First off all, greetings from Croatia.
Second off all, I have a question.
You see, for past couple of weeks, I have been toying with the idea to switch to e-cigarettes. So, with me being me, I first decided to get some info about them. While I somewhat figured out the basics: atomizers, liquid, cartomizers and so on, thanks to the fact there is a million choices of starter kits and mods, I still find myself rather confused.
So, my question is: Which e-cig starter kit, or some kitbashed battery/atty combo would most closely comply with the following requirements, while knowing that my budget is around 60 british pounds, an that I am a heavy smoker, smoking 2 packs a day:
1. Manual battery lasting at least 7 hours. 2. E-juice refilling that does not involve syringes, and that is easy to refill. 3. 510 atomizer. While from what I have read about 510's, there are better choices when it comes to reliability and vapor production, but I'd rather not have to go looking everywhere to find replacement when it eventually fails. I'd like to be able to get a replacement atty anywhere, and 510's are to be found at almost every supplier around.
Also, I'd like to mention that I did take a look at some ecig models, like say, the Ego-T, and while it seems like it might be "it", I still have my doubts.
And now, I'll end this post by apologizing for some silly questions, but I really had to ask. I want to switch, but I can't afford, and don't want to get it wrong.
Anyone that helps me out, thank you in advance.

Hello & welcome Evilpenguin The Riva that Tosh has linked to is a smashing starter kit at a very good price. Here is a video review of the Riva 901 - the 510 version works the same & is a better choice as so many other things are available with 510 threads. You don't need any syringes etc to refill the cartridges - just drip into them straight from the e-liquid bottle. You get a 10ml of juice with the kit that Tosh linked to but it would be best if you also order several other bottles at the same time of the high strength.

What a fab avatar! Penguin, great to see you here! 7 hours is a long time for one of the "non-big-battery mods" to last, but if you keep spares charged up it's quick and easy to swap the batteries. Do try to be open-minded while you're "discovering" e-cigs. Once you've got one in your hands you'll understand them much better and have an idea how you'd like to progress. A Riva is a very good model to start with scylla

I think I'll go with the Riva. I received mine today. It's class. I think I prefer the 'drip tips' too, so maybe you'd order two of those too, to go with your Riva? They're very cheap and easy to use. Regards,

I agree that drip-tips are brill, especially with a Clearomiser (a clear tube with an atomiser built in, which you fill with juice). And the avatar looks the biz! scylla

Hi Evilpenguin, nice to meet you, I hear Croatia is absolutely beautiful. Having spent a lot of time in Bulgaria I believe they are pretty similar landscape wise? I would also suggest as you're aware of different atomizers that you buy a 510 - 901 converter that way you can use either on your Riva
