Just because you have managed a year or so on a low nic level, don't pat yourself on the back just yet. Maybe in 4 or 5 years time you can start to think that perhaps this time you have actually cracked it. Or maybe not !!!! I stopped for just shy of 5 years then got bitten on the arse by the nicotine bug, as you do you convince yourself that the odd cigar off a night is not really smoking until you realise that it has become the highlight of your night ??? If I had not discovered vaping I can guarantee that I would be back on 30 a day by now. On the plus side I have shed over a stone in weight since starting vaping so I assume it must be the nicotine taking the edge off my appetite, cause after I stopped smoking I would be constantly munching on something to keep my mind off it

Yes, Bamble, most of us do feel healthier when vaping instead of smoking. It isn't an instant or magic cure though - damage done in the past can't all be repaired.

Because tobacco is a cash cow for the government and vaping isn't
If it is a licenced product then they can tax the ball*cks off it

Apparently The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE ) are currently carrying out a study to see whether vaping can be officially used and recommended as a quit smoking aid for the NHS. If so, we may see prices rocket. Think about how much nicotine gum costs! Stock up while you can?

Anyway, I haven't got the room for another freezer!!!!!

For me a big part of the addiction was the whole ritual of smoking too. After smoking 2 packs a day for too many years I was able to completely switch over to vaping and haven't had a complete cigarette since and really do not want to go back. I've been vaping for only 6 weeks but already feel so much healthier. I worry about the amount of nicotine I'm getting and at the moment I am experimenting with going down from 18mg to 12 mg but I am thinking of trying 0mg. I was pretty much a chain smoker and I'm now more or less a chain vaper but I think it is more the actions that have me addicted. Something really strange is that I never crave that first vape the way I used to crave that first cigarette in the morning which leads me to believe there is far more to smoking than just the nicotine addiction.

It's not just about the nic for me but I do go through withdrawal if I don't get my nic every hour or so and I rarely feel 100% satisfied like I used to with smoking but I enjoy vaping and it keeps me off analogues.
