First recoil - no joy - help!

Back on topic -

I think you are close Andy. As others have said, probably a short in or between the coils. But the dual heads are a bit of a bugger. I've done a few now, normally about 1.8, but had one recently that came in at 1.1 or 1.2, so my vamo doesn't like it. Vapes great on my LT though, so I haven't bothered to recoil.

No i think he means dual coils andy like the innokin i clear 16 and 30. You need res and non res wire to do those though. You can buy dual coil heads ready made for the nova but i cant remember where lol.

How did you get on last night in the end?

Yes dual coils lol. I put them in a dual coil head, but robby seems to manage on an ordinary head.

I don't think anyone uses no-res wire on the nova - tails short enough for it not to matter I guess. Or maybe we are just not as fussy as the penny people.

WHOOHOO!!!
Thought I would have another go with my spare Nova head tonight, and because I was a bit more careful making sure the tails were not touching anywhere, and trimmed the tails with nail clippers (sorry, Moggy!), I am now very proudly vaping on a self-made coil showing at 2.0 ohms on my Vamo in a Mini Nova.
Am I a happy bunny or what! No guarantee that my next one will work though - I foolishly promised I would recoil one for my mate - no pressure then!!

Sorry - I did have a look in the hardware shop in Lyme Regis where I was at the weekend for some snips, but no joy! I will rectify this asap, promise
The certs are usually a couple of weeks after the results - they are probably covering themselves saying 4 weeks!
