Good test Romelee. I was thinking about investing in a UC but won't bother now. My next test is gonna be: Steeping with lid on Steeping without lid on Steeping with lid on and shaking once a day Steeping without lid on and shaking once a day (gonna have to put lid on ofc to shake) Love all this testing thingy ma jibs I wonder if Frogster (The Alchemist) can confirm any of my findings or will he just think i am mad So did you do the tests? Which came out on top? At present I've just left my custards with the lid off in the cupboard. Wondering if shaking them will do anything.. Ps. I thought that air getting access to thw liquid was what made it steep? Otherwise liquids would be constantly steeping even when in the "vape box"?

Sorry i did not get around to do the test, but for all my steeping i just shake well when the mix is done and leave the lid off overnight and then just keep lids on for the next two weeks and give a shake of the bottles now and again. All mixes are kept in a dark cupboard at room temperature

Patience and time make a liquid steep . . . especially with Custard and Vanilla flavours. Personally I leave the lids on, tuck the bottles away in a dark cupboard and give them the occasional shake to help re-mix contents when I remember and it's as simple as that.

Pretty much the same apart from a lid off for 12hrs after the first mix just to let the air get out a bit but other than that just bung them in a dark cupboard and leave them too steep with a shake now and again....easy peasy lemon sqeezy

So they'll steep ok with the lid on? I thought they needed air to get to them Will put the lids back on! Pretty much the same apart from a lid off for 12hrs after the first mix just to let the air get out a bit but other than that just bung them in a dark cupboard and leave them too steep with a shake now and again....easy peasy lemon sqeezy Well they've had the lids off in the cupboard for 5 days now so will replace the lids and go from there! How long do you both generally leave your respective custard recipes for before you vape them? I'm going to test them on days 7 and 14 to see how they're progressing, but when should they be at their peak? Just need to find more yummy recipes to try now! Gonna end up with so many concentrates!

Not entirely convinced with the ultrasonic cleaner thing, how hot does the water get? because, heating eliquid especially those with VG will cause darkening anyway! ever used stainless rope in a genny with high vg liquid?
