Ecca meeting

I had my first 2hr meeting last night with the guys from ecca, they seem determined to do the best for consumers and are putting in alot of hard work to get the new ecca set up.

One of the ideas that was discussed was to send out a leaflet explaining what ecca does, this will mainly be directed towards non forum users, as the info will be on the new ecca website when it goes live. The plan is to have it available to anyone who wants a few to give out in pubs, or is maybe having a meet and we have some vendors who are happy to have them in their B&M shops and to send them out to non forum using web sales.

But obviously, ecca is comprised atm of a few well meaning people, we can't do everything ourselves and we don't have the skills to do it.

We need people to help, atm the one I am aware of mostly, is someone to design the PDF needed for the ecca leaflet, we will have the text wanted to appear on the PDF, but we need someone with flair and skill to help sort it all out.

I know we have several people on here like that, so I'm hoping someone will step forward. We are also after fancy ecig photos we could use on promotional material, as we don't want to waste money on copyrighted material.



There was various discussion about the new ticket raising method used for reporting problems with vendors etc. This will help keep all reported problems in an ordered fashion.
I remain a little unconvinced this will work atm, but I think going into the future, when ecca can prove it is actually doing something, it will come into it's own as more people seek help.

I'm not exactly sure what they/we are looking for, but that one looks great. Any help or effort that someone can put in, atm is very appreciated. Ecca is basically being rebuilt from the ground up and we need all the help we can get.

Thanks mate, I stuck my neck out and said how nice and helpful the guys at AAEC are, great stuff, I will be in touch later. Off to work now till late tonight.

If you have something reasonable to complain about then fair enough, I don't see any complaint above.

Btw if I think something is wrong, I will tell you.

i can't speak for Sooetie with any definitive reply, but i can outline one probable important point ... an ECCA request entitled "we need photos of your mods" which has been in existance since September 14, 2011.

as that long running well furnished thread has significant history, it might perhaps appear that ECCA are retreading their exact same formerly lame steps. where content is remarkable, it so marks wider interest. yet, while ECCA reinvite the same or extremely similar appeal, it does raise due question as to why existing content is less than enough.

For me the problem is more that this is just fiddling while Rome burns. The important thing now is to stop the EU (or our own medical establishment) from taking usable e-cigs off the market.
