Clearos are a law unto themselves  The first clearos i bought were Vision ce4 (disposable) and i could get a month out of them, now i'm on Innokin iclear 16 (and got plenty of replaceable heads) and this one with the original head has lasted over 3 months and still going strong , and it gets a lot of hammer :DI've had clones that have died in a week.

I didnt know you could get replacable parts for them, how does that work ? Is it a special type of clearo u need to buy .

I was like you. I enjoyed smoking and had no intention of giving up but I realised that I was smoking more and more as time went on. I was up to an ounce a day (about 50 rollies) and only wanted to cut down.
My first ecig was a disposable from Tescos and from the time I bought it until bedtime I had only smoked 5 real cigs. The following morning the battery died about midday so it was back into town to buy a "real" ecig. It was a cigalike with 5 carts. Over the next few days I was down to 5 rollys a day but on the 5th day I was shooting at our archery club and about 8pm lit a ciggy. As I took my first drag I realised that this was only my 2nd cig of the day. I didn't need them any more and I haven't smoked since then, 10 months ago.
As others have said, don't worry about the odd smoke, if you find a setup that suits you then you'll make the switch to ecigs without thinking about it.

These days most clearos have just about replaceable everything, heads, bases, coloured tubes etc etc.  ebnferro.com/e-cigarettes/itaste/innokin-dual-coil-iclear-16-changeable-clearomizer-red  hope this link works,  these work out at approx £3 each, and spare heads are approx £7 for 5. You can see in the pic, it all unscrews, the heads (wick/atomiser) are easily replaced. I can highly recommend ebnferro.com (Netherlands) i get my stuff (UK) in usually 7- 10 days and they do a free shipping option. Also cannot recommend highly enough iclear 16 clearos, still using the same original head after over 3 months of heavy vaping  it's as good as day 1, have given a clean out approx 3 times, cannot fault it.

No worries nurseygirl , ebnferro are handy if you just want 1 clearo to try with free shipping, and their clearos are pretty cheap, the iclears are approx £5 over here  they've a good range of stuff for us vapers.

Hi Sammie

The important thing is to stay positive and concentrate on all those cigs you are not smoking rather than the ones you are. I think all of us have had mishaps in the beginning but it does get easier although just yesterday I also unscrewed a clearomiser and ended up taking off the top instead.

Some clearomisers seem more noisy than others. One of the first Evods I got still hisses and crackles even though it has had several head changes. Otherwise it works okay so I do not worry about it now. Others are much quieter unless they get liquid down their centres. In that case I place a tissue under the clearomiser and blow down the drip tip. This seems to clear the airways and I usually do this automatically now after cleaning and refilling.
