Hey guys as a newbie to vaping could you give me some input in what devices are good value and economical to run and also which devices/setups are best avoided by those that well, havent got much of a clue.It may well stop some of us wasting our money on shiny stuff that really isn`t suitable.Help would be appreciated.

I suppose the most versatile set up would be a spinner/twist/winder all small variable voltage devices, all pretty similar to each other. With a Ce4/5 evod or mini nova on top and you can't go wrong. You could just have the standard ego type battery without the variable voltage. Avoid (like the plague) any that look like normal cigarettes. They just don't work. edit: I missed the last line of the first post. What Karma said

great stuff thanks Matt.Don`t laugh but at the minute i am using a keyring Maxi as i did buy a second hand Itaste vv but only used it for a week or so and it packed up so at the minute only have the maxi.I realize that the maxi is not meant for all day but i do love it.Was thinking of getting a box mod,do devices using bigger batteries give a stronger and longer lasting vape or do things like egos fare just as good.

A bigger battery the longer it lasts between charges. A variable ego will perform almost as well, albeit slightly less reliable than a mod of sorts. I think I'm right in saying the biggest part to a good set up is what's on the battery, not the battery itself. But the battery does play a part of course. p.s I wouldn't laugh at what anyone's set up is. If it's keeping you off the stinkies then it's doing its job and I think that can be said for every member on here. We are here to help, not ridicule

P.p.s what's wrong with the Itaste, there are many members on here that may be able to help getting it fixed.

Jaydaboy, a vv battery one could say will give a stronger vape, as you can alter the voltage ie a spinner or twist and the bigger capacity the battery then the longer it is between requiring charging, a dual 18650 box mod could last you 2 maybe three days, but then do you want to carry around a big mod all the time?

Firstly, Keyring is cool....why not. I'd get one if I didn't already have five seven stealth batteries. Box mods are also cool, but (unless I'm wrong) many will be set voltage. Mech mods are great, too. A £60 eVic or £40 Vamo (or £15.99 Lavatube) will vape the same as a VV ego, more or less.

Hi Jay, I would say you were unlucky in your second hand purchase , the itaste vv is a good mod for the price considering all the functions on it, I personally would rate it way above the twist or the spinner.

Yeh it may last me 3 days, but I don't want to risk running out of juice, I suppose I could carry a spare ego with me, to fully test how long it will last for And as you say, a vv ego will vape very similarly to an eVic, Vamo or even a Provari, the last 2 go to 6 volts rather than 4.8 and the Provari is (by all accounts) very reliable.

It should be better too. Isn't it a built-in 800mAh and more expensive? Depressing for the O.P though.
