I gave our kid a lift to the airport the other day and he has given me some cash to tie me over. I would have to put another £20 towards buying a Evic but my question to the members that have both mods is how would you rate one over another and which device do you use the most. I don't want to regret buying when one is better than the other. I know fasttech has the svd at a knockdown price and bargainvapour do a good deal on the evic. Can anyone make a case to choose the correct mod. I have read reviews but I am still uncertain. I don't think the money was for buying mods as I still waiting for the flippin MVP to arrive but to put it to better use. I will just make some sort of excuse and blame you lot.

Can I be super unhelpful? (Good, thanks.... ) i.m.o. all these devices are simply brilliant. I can't see you going wrong with either. I was determined to avoid the whole "big" e-cig thing, but once I knew I could piece together an eVic for £45 (the head only) to go with my joyetech tube and batteries, it was sold. Today, I got the proper eVic tube (from ukecigcabin) and it's now a £60 eVic. I'm enjoying it regardless. Shan't be buying anything like it again. (probably....!)

Given that the SVD I'd currently £25 a fast tech it seems a no brainer to me.

Thanks Djs very helpful indeed.. Now thats a good idea. I take it you got the black sturdier tubes as the standard tubes by what I read are a bit lightweight.

I can't say anything about the eVic as I don't have one, but I am very happy with my SVD, the kit it came with included 2 iclear30's and some spare heads which is very good value. I am assuming that you have the required batteries and charger, otherwise that will be an extra cost.

Thanks Jerri. The price of the SVD is swaying me, Ideally I would like both and what Djs has said about buying the head and tube separately has made it more of a difficult decision. I think I might do a bet and hope I am lucky. who knows I might be lucky to buy a provari.
I hate making decisions.
Cheers Gasper.

I have to say, I love my evic, haven't tried the SVD though. But I did see and handle one. I'm sticking with the evic, but that's mainly because the SVD I saw had a problem and I don't like the extended tube design.
So many mods though, so little money/time.

From vapour break, you can get the kit seperately (no cable, it's a mini USB one) with the sturdier tubes (I got white) with the bigger 3400mah battery for £2 more than their kit, or get the standard battery for the same price. The eVic is the only mod I have got, but as the others have said, I doubt you can go wrong with either. The iclear 30 is a great vape. A little tight, but great flavour and plenty of vapour

Got both mate, of the two I would say that the SVD is sturdier, better engineered, has a more powerful output (11 watts limit on the EVIC) and in my opinion it looks pretty classy. My Evic gets little use these days and since the SVD has come into my posession, the Vamo is now taking a back seat in the retirement home. This SVD is just so good. I still find the EVIC software a bit quirky to the point where I cant be bothered with it. If I had to buy one of the two at the same price each, I would probably go for the SVD now.

I have the evic stamina but haven't a svd, In all honesty unless you are going to use the extended features of the evic (can't say I do ) and from a price point of view I would go for the SVD. Edit I am currently in process of sweet talking "she who must be obeyed" into letting me get a SVD but prob is this week SS Vamo & KTS Storm arrived and I am awaiting MVP, ordered e-pipe this week so I got a lot of sweet talking to do

Cheers Womble for tipping the Evic. I do like that you get to connect it to the pc and download udates and have all the information on hand but not seeing them for real has made the decision really tough. Thanks for your feedback though. spot on with to many mods so little money/time quote. Cheers Matt for your post but I can't see it on Vapourbreak's website. I will check it out again in the morning. Robby Thank you for your post, You have just shortened the odds in favour of SVD. I really do like the price on Fasttech and with you saying that you use the SVD as your go to device its swaying me in that direction. A very good review that cheers robby. I think what I do is tally up the score tomorrow and then flip a coin Latest score SVD 4 Evic 3 Thanks Fiddles. wow you must be must be good at sweet talking. you need to go and see a hypnotist to make you stop buying shinys You have just chuck another idea in my head. since I have to put £20 towards a evic. I could get the svd and a kts body for what dosh I have. Oh why did you post.
