Hi guys,
twice now my Riva has leaked was using it fine all day yesterday took it upstairs to bed and rested it on the side and all was well for hour or two, went to have one final vape before going to sleep and was empty and had leaked all my juice out. I have a rebuild able clearo but its been fine and been using it for week or two now with no problems,
took it apart last night wiped it all clean and refilled it and all seems ok again
do they sometimes leak?? any ideas anyone please?

Most people keep them upright sealover but lying them down should not cause them to leak as long as everything is all sealed correctly.
Make sure the head is screwed down tight as liquid can get in there. Make sure the drip tip meets the rubber cap and is all level and sealed. Apart from that the only other thing it could be is the tube. Maybe a slight crack in it that causes a leak but unless you have dropped it or used a tank cracking juice it should be ok.

I don't ever lie it down to far just on a tilt, its not coming out the top as last night it leaked nearly till it was empty and it was topped up before I went to bed, maybe I just never done it up tight enough, this has only happened since I replaced my clearo with the rebuildable clearo

Could be things not tight enough then sealover or a cracked tank. Did it go into your battery? What juice was in it?

hard to tell if it went into the batt as it was all over the battery outside, been looking at the tank with a magnifying glass and don't see any leaks, if it had a crack it would probley leak all the time, juice is royals vg 18mg from paradise vape uk

Could just be a case of it not being tightened up enough at the time, as with all liquids they try and find a way out. As a rule i always keep them upright and never leave anything attached to the battery overnight, i am sure clearomizers/tanks etc wait for us to sleep before they go for a prison break

I had this. The plastic tube wasn't quite pushed far enough into the silver base. Unscrew it from the battery, place it on a solid surface, silver base down and press on the top of the drip tip quite hard. You should hear it click back into place. It only needs to be a very small gap for it to leak so just make sure the tube is flush with the silver base

Unfortunately almost anything you stick on a battery can leak, even if it is only a little bit. The thing to be careful of though is not tightening it up on the battery too much or you are likely to push the centre pin down and eventually wear down the insulation round it. There are many ways in which a clearomiser can leak! Make sure all the bits of it are tightly screwed together and all the seals in place and there are no cracks in it (can be difficult to spot!). The other thing is to regularly clean the connection on your battery - you will always find that some gunk will have accumulated!
