Syringes were washed by my OH but I guess residue could have been left. Oh dear. Shed time? Noooo. I can't be mean. He mowed the lawns back and front whilst I was away at the weekend and when I went into the lounge he had picked flowers from the garden and put them in a vase in front of the fireplace. bless him. He has accumulated brownies points this week. Oh!! And he washed the Dolly bus yesterday!!

A good tip on here, think it was perps who posted, give your mixing kit bottles/syringes etc a final rinse in distilled water, gets rid of any residue left by ordinary tap water. Is specially good for small measuring stuff were you've got individual ML markings . . . but not the eyesight to match

I think in future I will only use certain equipment for the strong flavours. As in one set for menthol. One set for anise etc. That way they can't contaminate anything.
