I made a lovely Bounty bar type mix last week. Both me and Mr Dolly love it,so today I have just tried to make up 30mls instead of the original 10mls as most of that has gone!!
I don't know why,but this new batch looks very cloudy! The old bottle has always been clear although has got more honey coloured over several days. I use vape wizard in it. Would the fact I use 3 times more than the smaller batch cause this? I wouldn't have thought so as technically it is still the same ratios. I just don't know why it has done this. I must add that I had to mix two different companies coconut together as I didn't have enough of the original flavouring left to make up the 30ml recipe. Other than that all is the same.

Cant help Dolly, soz. The only thing that you have done differently is to add the other companies flavour.....perhaps there has been some sort of reaction, but I cant see why!

I just had another look at the bottle and I think it is starting to clear, but still a very odd thing to happen.

Pass. There's nothing that I can find about those flavours that would cause any reactions that I can see. Not mixed with those coconuts. If it's not the water residue (not noticed that myself but it is possible) then it's most likely that you've combined 2 different flavours in the new mix - this is what has changed from the previous and these are probably combining ... its probably steeping time required

Dolly it might be worth you making another lot which will then just use your new flavouring just in case there's been an adverse reaction between the 2. Then that may give you the answer ?

Yeah I will try that later. Run out of the first coconut one which was coconut candy. Off out for lunch at Leigh on sea. Not sitting in here all day when the sun is shining!

No right or wrong really Denis, as Ash says . . . I tend to do my Nic base first, flavours then top up with VG. But that's just the way of working that suits me and I'm not bothered if my overall nic strength is a bit lower/higher through the addition of unmeasured VG. The only thing I can think of Dolly is the way the different flavours have reacted together on this batch, different brands are bound to source different ingredients. But I wouldn't worry about it.

Try to let your batch steep for one week. Sometimes my creations are cloudy at first but then clear up over time.
