I am going to stay with my almost mother in law at the weekend for a week or 2 , and will have no internet access except for when I can find a café, so I thought I had better ask more questions now whilst I can. I have thought through situations I could possibly find myself in so -
First - I saw on susieshoes post that if you have a liquid that you believe may be too high nicotine you can add something you buy from boots. Say you have a 10ml bottle almost full of 20mg, do you just take the top off and pour the boots stuff in? If so how much?
Next - If you have 2 or 3 tobacco liquids, different makes, but only a small amount of each, can you pour them all in together then fill your clearo with it? Or do they not mix?
Next - If something is too rough on the throat what do you add ,how , and how much?
Next - What do you use to clean the drip trip?

First - Yes - depends how much you want to dilute. eg If you have 10ml @ 18mg, if you add 10ml Glycerine from boots, you have 20ml @ 9mg
Next - technically yes - but may not taste as you expect
Next - Not sure - possibly VG (Glycerine) as above.
Last - spit.

You can just mix any pre made liquids together, may taste good or not If you dilute your ready mixed down you will probably lose some flavourand you will dilute the nicotine content! What you need is Vegetable Glyserine, Boots is probably the cheapest, look in the cough medicine section or ask, although if you have a local chemist they will have it too. Also availabe in smaller bottles from the baking section in the supermarket! Cleaning drip tips, alcohol swaps, bicarb of soda or just a bit rinse out in hot water

Suppose I should answer the last bit properly, and say hot water will do, but to be really thorough, you can use denture tablets 79p from tesco (other brands may be available) for all your vaping bits. Or even soak in bicarb, I believe.

sammy13 PG & nic strength is what gives you throat hit so adding VG is correct, (VG is what produces the vapour)

sammy13Ooh - just noticed a question of "How?" Adding/combining liquids - if you can manage, and quantities are not so improtant, you could just tip one into the other. For adding small or accurate amounts, you can use a syringe with or without a blunt needle - you could also use a pipette or something - just don't tip it all over your MIL's worktop Also, remember to make sure you have plenty of spare clearos/cartos. Where will you be for the time you are away? You never know, there may be an experienced member just down the street who could help you out Or even a local B+M shop for an emergency?

She was extremely intrigued by my Riva, etc, and wanted to know how it works etc. (She didn't want to try - she's never smoked, but was really interested in how I'd managed to give up the stinkies.)

1) you can dilute strong flavours/nic strength with VG, but if you don't want to lose any flavour, buy a bottle of same flavour 0mg and dilute with that. When i've got a juice thats too strong i usually fill a dropper bottle to 3/4 with the juice and fill up (using a pipette or syringe) with VG. 2) i've had some gorgeous ejuice mixing up all my dregs, so yes you can, but there's always a chance it will be yukky 3) do the same as the first, VG or 0mg same flavour. 4) Warm water. You are doing great, just read your other thread, only 1 cig today, brilliant.

I have a syringe so I can use that if I need to get technical. One of my tobacco liquids has given me a bad throat, or at least something has. I will be in sunny Minehead I've ordered the sunshine.

Don't forget to paint some clear nail varnish over the numbers & scale before dipping in liquids Are you drinking plenty? Vaping can dry your mouth & throat. Enjoy Minehead, & hope you get the sun.

I'm a big coffee drinker, and it has been constant, in fact I could do with it drip fed, I've also went through a litre of orange juice yesterday. I got three liquids, a small sample that came with the kit, and some carts, and I tried them all the first couple of days so that may be the problem. One of the tobacco liquids hit me in the throat like I don't know what though so I'm presuming it was that although I only had about 0.6 ml of it. Today I have stuck to the other tobacco liquid but my throat feels like I've been chewing broken glass, and it's making everything difficult. I smoke sovereign normally which I find quite mild.

How much equipment are you taking with you? I would take at least 5 spare cartos/clearos with you and your staying for 2 weeks I would take 30mls of juice. There are a number of online retailers that can get product to your door (majority of the time) the very next day. A quick google and doesn't appear to be any B&M shops in Minehead. Vaping can be a little harsh on the throat to begin with, just drink plenty and it will soon settle down
