can someone please tell me why the igo-l is so so good, it's made every tank i have redundant, i class myself as a noob to building coils but i can build a 2.0 ohm coil for this everytime and the VTF is awesome

Now I wired mine up for the first time this week and on my Vamo at bugger knows what ohms cos I revved up the watts it was great, but I was comparing it to clearo's and carto's so the flavour alone... Mmmnmmnmm But what I learned since, and off of this board, is putting it on a mod at fixed voltage, is you need to wrap a low ohms coil to get the flavour over the battery life, it's a great atomiser and its been an interesting learning curve, it knocks the socks off tanks for flavour, but its easy to flood and needs tlc. What's your experience? I need to re-coil mine every other day but maybe that's because I abuse it with so many different flavours, how about you? I find more tha 6-7 drops makes it boil fumes which tastes like shite What's vtf mean as well?!?

Hi poochops, great name by the way. Firstly VTF is short for Vapour, throat hit, Flavour. I coil mine with .2/32awg A1 kathal and a doubled piece of 2mm silica wick. I coil towards the loop of the silica with 5 wraps which gives me 1.9 - 2.1 ohm coil every time, i also sit the coil low and away from the posts slightly, i do this because if you have a look at the air hole, it sits very low and to have the coil in a similar position aids the air mixture to the coil, this way i dont have to drill out the hole. (imho people need not drill out this hole if the coil they build is sitting low and right opposite the coil, the only reason for making the hole bigger is if a particular person finds the draw too tight) I put 15 drops in when new coil is done then every top up after that is 7 drops, brilliant dripper and very cheap to buy and keep going. PS: I use my igo on a regulated device (eVic) so i cant make the ohms of the coil too low but the 2.0 ohm coils i make for this work brillint

I coil mine the same as you do, but tight to the posts, it needs recoiling now so ill try lowering and moving it closer to the outside of the shell, like nearer the hole and see if it's better, I'll let you know, cheers, Si

I use 3mm to make a loop then bring the wick back on itself so Im warping my coil round three stands of wick. The side thats going to be closest to the cap gets clipped off short and the other side left long enough to fill the tray, it holds 10 large drops no problem. I wrap as tight as I can get it, it usually comes out at about 2.8 ohms then settles in at 2.4 ohms after about half a day. Im recoiling about once in ten days, with maybe a dry burn after about a week. My air hole has been drilled out and at 4.4V its a smoke machine, Im going to drill out the other attie as I find the vape a bit sharp thou Ill keep it a bit tighter than the one on the Vamo and use that on the mechanical mod. The Igo is way ahead of any other atties that Ive tried, the choddy has been the next best thing. My other bits and bats are novelties after a few hours of use. Edit 4.4 not 2.4V

Cheers for that oxo, what I just tried was coiling a piece of 3mm ekowool at one end (rather than double it up) ant then laying the remaining inch or so back around the deck and back to the coil, I lowered the coil and moved it nearer the air hole. The cocktail stick is quite wide by comparison to say a paperclip so the wick should have a good pull to it but the coils are still well in contact, I'm gonna fire it up now and will see how it goes cheers all, Si
