I must admit I'm lazier than Roger and I don't usually bother with the rinsing bit - I just mop up any juice and squeeze the wick with tissue to get most of the juice out and then dry burn (in pulses) until it is all glowing red and not much vapour is still coming off. Mind you, that is mainly because I am not usually going to change the juice much If you use something with a really strong taste like Menthol or Pluid you are going to have to take more drastic action though! I meant to add that I would only rinse for something that has longish wicks, like a Nova (if I used them). My drippers I tend to do what you say Dave.

Never tasted Pluid but I've heard it's nuts. I was going to try a few drops of vodka but I drank it all but water seems to work fine.
Next problem for me is my little 510 and 306 drippers I use for tasting. They are so temperamental I can't really tell how my juices are doing. 3.3-4v and short hits - I get frequent burnt hits and poor taste. So far I have tried blowing PG and vodka through but still not a great result. Will those little coils stand up to a dry burn?

You had to DB the old 510 atties to get any life out of them. Useless things really, especially for the cost compared to what you get for the same, or less money today.

Probably should be looking at an Octopus or something then? 510s not worth the bother?

I have only used a IGO a couple of times, because i am estimating the OHM's using a crappy multimeter and the "suggested" voltage on my itaste VV, but i think i've rewicked it erm 3 times in 2 days because its a new shiny and i like playing with it haha.
Side note, i drilled the hole out in mine to about 2mm, and the flavour and throat hit from my blueberry 18mg took me by surprise it actually made me cough haha.
