Is there a portable PV that's like a pass through?

No Grizz, I'm very good about that. I had a 501 > 901 adapter on it and had to jiggle it around until the atty fired. It didn't work unless the adapter was quite loose. Then I had to do the same thing with a 501 clearo and now it doesn't work at all but it's under warranty so I can send it back to be fixed.

It was great when it worked though.

That's the problem with adapters they do'nt always work well, I much prefer having the right connector myself.

(Forgive me for the number of times I've said this) I have 3 dead GD-PTs, I've always assumed it was the button that failed because it doesn't go all at once. My last one, though, was a real mystery - I had to hold it so that the button was facing east (towards my right ear): if it was facing north, south, west, or points between, the PT was comatose ??? Then it died altogether.

That last bit sounds like a loose wire which then broke. It is likely you could have them repaired though if the GD does repairs.
Since you have three broken PT I'm sure GD would have some sort of repair deal you could come to.

If you get in touch with him I think you'll find him very helpfull and willing to repair all 3 for you.

As I read it the GDPT has a 12 month GT.
Why not send them back for repair?
