This is a real time film of a switch being made. Listed at the start are materials which were all bought on ebay. The copper strip was from here, and there are other sizes available elsewhere on ebay instead of the stuff I used if you want it wider. Feel free to ask questions folks, I may have less time soon so get them in quick before parts arrive and I start playing with them.

Very nicely done gave me more understanding of the switch as i can follow things more when being shown rather than having it written down. Thanks for the walk thru was very helpful.Keep up the good work mate.

Now that was very interesting,it looks very simple to do but the switch also looks very reliable and so easy to activate.Ive decided to stay away from modding and leave it to the experts :)Its great to see things actually being made live, well done mate.

And captioning instead of speaking so you can't hear any bad words I may have used during the filming of this item (like getting the damn backing off the copper). Seriously it is quite easy - took me much longer to edit the captions and produce the video than it did to make the switch. My own PT switch will soon be a week old with no changes made and no missfires or jamming. You do find yourself looking down at the LED quite a lot at first since there is no sound or detectable click when you push it - but you soon get used to it and find you barely need to touch it for it to work. I will be using this as the default switch for all my mods unless people request differently - and yes I do mean I will be having a proper mod shop eventually where you can vary some aspects of basic models.

I've also sent a link to pique the interest of Cat at VTTV, she's looking for stuff to show - don't know if anybody would find it that interesting though.

Being a proud owner of one of Verey's Midi Monsters and just starting out in the modding world, this switch is fab to use, so easy! I have watched the video many times, and have ordered the bits needed. Having little understanding of the technical anything, I will probably watch the video another ten times or so, whilst I construct the switch. I would like to thank Verey for his extreme patience in answering my silly questions. I would never have guessed what the copper tape is used for, but am sound in the knowledge that if my mod doesn't work, at least I will be able to keep the pests off my vegetable patch. Thank you Verey!

Well Ladies, I am only just getting over the shock of having to buy STICKY BACK PLASTIC Takes me back to the Blue Peter days! If all else fails, I have a roll of rather fetching duct tape in silver and some plasters and savlon. I think I have everything covered. Can't wait for everything to arrive, I practically mugged the postie this morning, bless him

Is the 'mooding' up and running now Kat? Or is the postie delaying delivery as he's enjoying his daily mugging too much!
