Fasttech Vamo. Heads Up !!!

Hi All.

Received Vamo from Fasttech a few days ago.

Unpacked it and found a Chrome plated `brass` version, although all paperwork stated "STAINLESS" as ordered.

Peeps check your parcels in case you get same genuine mistake supplied.

Contacted Fasttech, given a ticket number, now awaiting their reply.

Still have confidence in Fasttech.

Hi Chrissie.

I`m sure they will, have received many orders from them with first class service.

The box that Vamo was in marked up as `stainless` code model, but it contained chrome plated brass.

i have assumed it was incorrectly labelled / packaged by the `manufacturer` not by Fasttech.

So glad it was not the "pork product" packed otherwise i would most likely put the `hammer` to it.

opened mine yesterday and it was the stainless as advertised, sorry that you didn't receive the correct one

Best keep my eyes peeled in about 3 weeks, just ordered a Vamo V2 SS for myself!

I have a quick question

How long did delivery take roughly? I've just ordered the black chrome V3 but was told it won't be dispatched till the 20th due to waiting for more stock to arrive.

2 to 3 weeks usually, I ordered a vamo on the 25th last month and it didn't ship until the 1st or 2nd I think it was but arrived on the 10th.

I've been chugging on mine for a fortnight, how do I tell if its not SS?

Delivery was about 12 days BTW Bernard, but they had a public holiday recently so lots of deliveries are three days or longer going out at the moment I think.

Hi poochops.

Unscrew the battery sections, and very carefully scrape the "inside" of the tube section with a sharp object, look to see if any `brass` is showing, if none, you have a stainless model, if `brass` is wiped off on your finger, you will be like mine, the owner of a `chrome` plated `brass` Vamo.
