I've just set up an iclear30 with my Vamo. Flavour and vapour production seem decent but I'm finding it a very tight draw. Is there any way of increasing airflow? I've tried using an ego 510 adapter but that doesn't improve it,

Probably depends on what your using for the iclear as its dual coil I think it's best at 3.8 to 4 volts to give the coils chance to warm up,also depends on the VG/PG of your juice.. someone will know a better explanation.

I'm using 70PG/30VG. Vapour production and flavour are fine as I mentioned. I just feel like it's sucking an elephant through a straw....hmm perhaps I should think of a different analogy I've been vaping at 7.5-8W

If its the first tank through it I've heard it gets better with the second fill.

Thanks. I do hope it does as the draw is uncomfortable tight. May also be as I'm used to such an airy draw with the carto tanks and I need to inhale much more slowly.

Stick it on volts and try a couple of draws at 4/5 Thanks Just tried that. Draw is pretty much the same at 4V but a bit better at 5V but it taste burnt at that voltage.

Thanks Taz. Will persevere with it but the X8 is back on now I love my iclear30, find it best at 9 watts on my vamo for most juices, I've also found that if you loosen it a little it wont lose connection which might help? Or try loosening the ball/ drip tip a little? (Not sure if that will help sorry!) Although I agree the draw is a little tight on mine I've had no problem with it.

Arrowmunda thanks. I've tried loosening bits but not much joy. 9W I find burns, 8W is usually my sweetspot. I've heard you can drill the drip tip and body which improves things but I'm yet to see a guide.

I have vaped my iclear right up to 5 volts (eVic only goes that high) and no burning. It is a little tighter than my kanger T2 but I quite like it. Maybe you would prefer an airier draw?

Just thought I'd update on what's happening with the iclear30. For some unknown reason, the draw using the Vamo has improved dramatically and it's now spot on. Not tight at all and not airy; just a lovely balance....for now! I was getting some dry hits. A slight mod to the cap has pretty much sorted that. A bit like some people do with their Vivis and CE caps, I cut the existing notches a little higher. I also cut smaller notches for the two sets of wicks that come from the bottom coil. I've been vaping with it for a couple of days now and not a single dry hit. What I have noticed is that every couple of days, I get some gurgling which keeps rearing its ugly head. Tried a few sharp intakes which sometimes helps, tried blowing through it onto a tissue which also sometimes temporarily fixes it but the iclear seems to like being taken apart and washed every couple of days, after which it really starts to behave itself. I'm still using the existing coils/wicks and one of the replacements but in rotation. They both still appear to be in top condition after being washed. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Flavour great, TH great with the 2 coils, vapour production excellent. I'm that happy with it that I've not used my carto/tanks in the last few days. Now I just hope I haven't put the kiss of death on it by raving on!!

The draw from an iclear is on the tight side but the vamo only has air channels cut out of the 510 connection and not the top cap so that could restrict the airflow if the iclear is flush to the top cap, try slightly unscrewing the iclear if this is the case. PS: if unsuccessful trade it for a pro-tank
