Board now showing on "New Topics"

Okey dokey, I've been having a think (yes I know that can be dangerous ) ...

Hows about if I create another theme that has the old look in New topics - i.e. last poster showing? Then those that would prefer the old lay out can choose that theme for their profile? I'll only do it for the default colour theme & call it default2.

Sounds like a plan Chrissie... sorry it means more work for you though. Just to add the other reason I liked the previous format was as well as displaying the last poster. it gave the time when posted, so you knew how recent it was in relation to when you last looked.

Seems as if you have found a way to please all of the people all of the time Chrissie... you should be a politician!

Also has anyone noticed when you have inserted a picture to post & then go to add a smiley a lot of the times it wipes out your whole post .. or is Chrissie trying to censor me ?

Go to profile then click on edit profile, once there you will see settings, click on settings and then scroll down to forum theme. click on Forum Theme as this Displays the available theme of your choice and then look for default2. When you have clicked on default2, you must go down to bottom of page to save these settings for the deafult2 to display the last poster settings.

Yep, Default2 theme is indeed now available for those who prefer the new topics to show who last posted rather than the board posted on

I've been testing out all the functions on default2 & I think I've added everything in, but if I missed something, please let me know

I've just been going through theme management & checking how many people are using each theme (it doesn't give the user names, just the number of users using each theme). And as no one is using the Mono theme, I'm going to disable it as every time I add something or tweak a bit of coding, I have to do it on every theme individually.
