hi is it just me or what you don't see as many items on 1 page I think it was ok before you could always see what topic it' s in at the top . all the best vic ps I am a if it's not broke don't fix it

Sorry Vic, I'm not sure what you mean? Previously when clicking on the "New Topics" tab in the menu, you could either see the board or who posted last - not both.

Chrissie, is it possible to have name of the original poster under the "Created By" column in a colour that stands out from the rest of the info in that box a bit like below (not necessarily red)

No it isn't Greigster as the name colour of members is classed as a link, the same as the links to the boards & threads.

I've been looking into this further Greigster & I have found a way to change the colour of members display names that aren't in groups. However, I really don't want to give members a completely different colour (running out of choices anyway due to the various coloured member groups we have), but I can lighten members display names with a colour smear.

Thanks Chrissie, I didnt want you to spend your weekend tinkering...........it was only a suggestion. For me, its just helpful to instantly spot the poster.

I personally would find it a bit easier but it is not a biggie.

I suppose that before the latest change, the posters name was all that was in the box so it made it easy.

Could the board titles be black so the names in blue would stand out.

It is easy to see the vendors, mods etc. because they are in different colour?

As I said, its not a big thing.

Neil, don't forget that we have have 6 different colour themes, so I'd have to find something that will fit in with all of them. Or find a different colour for them all.

Vendors, mods etc are in colour coded groups & their id links are linked to the group colour. Apart from using colour smear (just checking with the moderators to see if they like it), the only other way round would be to put every single member into a new colour coded group & every new member would have to be added as they join - a massive job.

And also thank you all for bearing with me. I'm not an expert coder - far from it & it's been a massive learning curve for me changing to the new coding of Proboards V5 platform. Mind you, I'm not the only one, even some of the brilliant Probpoards support admin & coders have been flummoxed sometimes

Edit - apologies to everyone that's using any of the other 5 colour themes. I'll  try & work on them all tomorrow.
