You are not wrong tobacco flavours work but only now and then, mainly use coffee and brandy mix and a cheeky after 8 of chocolate and mint. Even I think I could be a bit strange!

No have nt had a cigarette since i decided to stop.

I kind of feel im cheating though as vaping just seems to cover all the bases for me.
I get the nicotine hit
I ve worked on the throat hit
hand to mouth habit is satisfied
learning about vaping keeps my mind actively away from any thoughts of smoking a cigarette(as a chef i find mixing fascinating)
I prefer vaping than smoking
Hopefully it ll go up a level as im waiting on a vamo to take over from the Riva 1100
Plenty of scope for upgrading

Im not complacent and remain on gaurd any chance of a relapse though

I gave up tobacco on 13th September last year, and with the exception of one, which tasted horrible, haven't smoked since. Vaping has been my saviour in more ways than one, and I certainly wouldn't go back now. I've put myself into situations where in the past I would have reached for my baccy, but now just get out my Vamo and vape away!

When I tried patches I took the old one off in the morning before I washed then put a new one on as I got dressed, went down stairs then went out for a cigarette, never had that problem with vaping. Dave

Riva kit turned up at 11am 8th may, last fag was 12 midday 8th may. Haven't touched one since and have yearn to do so either!

6 weeks and still going strong!!

I was full time vaping 8 weeks after getting my ecig,so August 2009. Did have a smoke whilst on holiday in Oct 2010 but wondered why i'd bothered afterwards !

That's someone who smoked 40/50 a day for almost 4 decades and had difficultly going 3 hours without a cigarette.

Nope, so much of what the MHRA put out last week makes for fertiliser, but I wouldn't even it trust it for that purpose.

To be honest I occasionally smoke a cigarette when I'm very drunk. Fortunately that's not very often. Other than that I never think of them or want them. Never thought I'd get off the cigs. Surprised myself and a lot of others!!

I do think though, Des, the poll results will be skewed for the members of this forum as not only have the majority completely gone over to vaping but they are also interested enough to have joined this forum in the first place.

However, to give an idea of how popular vaping has become, Mrs G-J is currently in hospital, and during visiting the number of vapers has surprised me no end !! Being in Wrexham, I can't help wondering how much of an influence Feri (royalvapor on here) opening up his shop in town has had on these numbers, all I can say it is extremely positive, even one of the nurses on Mrs G-J's ward has asked for details (recommended AAE-C of course )

I smoked for 30+ years, started vaping over a year ago and not had a ciggie since, so it's 100% success for me, same for my OH as well. So the MHRA can put that in their pipe and smoke it inhaler and spray it.
