POLL - Do you still smoke Cigarettes (stinkies)?

I don't remember recently seeing a poll about this but reading the MHRA crap press release it said 50% of e-cig users still smoke tobacco cigarettes, so my question is do you?

You can remain anonymous and do not have to post a comment below, but I'm interested to see the results of this poll and see if the MHRA are talking crap are correct.

Some of the answers are broad, choose whichever is the nearest to your habit.

I have not smoked since I started vaping. Not one. Zilch. Nada. Nuffin.
I wonder if the 50% statistic relates to those who have only tried cig-alikes?

I still have the occasional stinkie .....sometimes I find vaping just isn't working for me ....I feel that I just haven't found my set up yet but feel that when I do I'll stop completely ..

I'm certain that I am in the minority with this but I do still have about 5 cigarettes a day; I answered as occasionally as that was the closest as I vape much more than I smoke.

I would prefer to smoke my work boots, rather than smoke a real cig, egh! And I'll tell you now, my work boots aren't that nice


IF someone gave me a really nice cigar, I might be interested, but only to see how good it was compared to a ecig. I suspect it would be horrible, but I might be interested in giving it a go.
But normal cigs, no, not a chance. I only have to be close to a smoker and it smells really horrible.

Since my first puff from my eGo kit, I've not even thought about a fag, and I didn't do it to give up... I just thought I'd try it!

Plus it's already paid for my new central heating for next winter (or this Summer)!

I have neither smoked or wanted to smoke tobacco since the day I switched to full time vaping, and I was vaping more than smoking before I switched and that was using VIP. Dave

Interesting this... and just looking at the above replies.....

Maybe you should split it into male/female, because I have stopped completely yet my missus is still having the occasional 1 or 3 a day.

I put it down to the fact that I have a Vamo with a Dream on it, and get all my needs provided by my set-up.
While she has an EGO T. She feels it still has to resemble a cig in some sort of fashion but it doesnt really do the whole job.

Just my 2 penneth anyways

I agree womble it smells disgusting ....however even when I smoked full time I hated the smell ....it never stopped me then and unfortunately it doesn't stop me now ...but I have gone from 25 a day to 4/5 a week so I'm pleased with that ......I'd really like to stop altogether but just now that's just not happening for me

No I have not touched a cigarette since January. Six of us gave up at work together (in favour of vaping) and none of us has gone back so far.

I had previously tried hypnotherapy (didn't work for me) and the patches (just made me feel ill). A mate gave me one piece of the chewing gum and I nearly threw up on the spot....

I couldn't believe how stress-free it was to switch from cigarettes to vaping - everybody in the group has said this. Five out of our group of six had tried the 'official' NRT and failed, but so far we have 100% success rate with PVs, but then we all enjoy vaping. None of us enjoyed NRT!

Not sure I've saved much money though since I caught shineyitis

I haven't touched a stinkie since the vape dropped thru my letter box, just the smell of a cig makes me want to puke now and that's 35 years as a smoker.

I can honestley say after 3 months off the fags I will never smoke again.
