Let it steep longer, it will taste different in a few weeks, some of the stuff I made up tasted rank after a week steeping. Week later lovely. Thanks canford. I will put aside 10 ml and see what happens. I made it up about 3 weeks ago one desperate day when I realised I had run out of of shop bought liquid and was going on a 2 day trip!! I'm learning now though, so trying to do a new mix every couple of days or so and trying to be patient. It must work though, because I sampled a nutty coffee cream that's steeping and it already seems like a smooth vape. Patience, patience.....

mya a girl after my own heart, I've also tried for a very cherry using ordinary cherry & black cherry or kirsch but had the same results, smelt lush, tasted of acetone (peardrops) or like when you were a kid & you'd eaten to many midget gems in one go. I have some capellas cherry that I'm going to try, I also think it would benefit from some kind of sweetner & maybe vape wizard if I can find any (never seen bitter wizard). I've read it one of the hardest flavours to get right! I will be keeping a beady eye on your cherry posts for updates! What does vape wizard do 4madcats??

mya Apparently it's supposed to soften any acidic/sour flavours, full description here at the bottom of the page www.flavourart.co.uk/view-all-flavours-24-w.aspso hopefully that & a little sweetener might just do it. I also going to try just one flavour, so just plain cherry on it's own instead of mixing with black cherry & kirsch. Was just gutted that the flavour smelt gorgeous but could barely make out any cherry flavour in the mix. It's going to be a couple of weeks cos I'm waiting on some other bits, but I will keep you informed & likewise if you crack it before me let me know It's a bit disheartening to say the least when the blerdy disposable Apollo ecig in the car (for emergencies) tasted better then mine

Just a quick thanks to Perpetua. The only thing that's worked is turning it into a menthol, so I have a lovely mix of lemon cherry menthol on the go and the concentrate is no longer going in the bin! Ta!!
