So, my first ever attempt at a mix was using maraschino cherry. It cracked my first ever tank. Anyway, tasted sort of ok but had a bit of a chemically sting to it. I added some Magic Mask, which I bought by accident instead of Bitter Wizard and it did help to smooth it out.
However, it's not a great vape and I have 20mls of the stuff (lesson learned, 10mls from here on in!). I did mix a few drops with a berry mix I made up, which was ok, but I'm looking for something else to try it in. Do you think it would work in OneDay's Choc Cherry receipe? Or is there anything you can think of that maraschino cherry would be good in. It's a completely dominating flavour, so feeling a bit stuck.
Hopefully someone's got some idea or else it'll be a tip down the drain job!!

mya I'm sure it would be good in the choc cherry, but obviously keep the % low if it's that strong. It might make a nice cherry custard too?? Or cherry cheesecake?

Thanks OneDay - I'll give your recipe a go - it sounds delicious! I'm not a custard fan (sacrilege I know) but the thought of cherry cheesecake is making my mouth water!! I will order a cheescake flavour today!! Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Cherry Pie or Choc Cherry Cookie could be another option Mya . . . TPA do a Pie Crust, F'arts a very nice Cookie and I like Capella or TPA Double Chocolate. Cherry Menthol perhaps if you're into minty flavours.

mya a girl after my own heart, I've also tried for a very cherry using ordinary cherry & black cherry or kirsch but had the same results, smelt lush, tasted of acetone (peardrops) or like when you were a kid & you'd eaten to many midget gems in one go. I have some capellas cherry that I'm going to try, I also think it would benefit from some kind of sweetner & maybe vape wizard if I can find any (never seen bitter wizard).

Flavourarts make a Bitter Wizard 4mad . . . along with Vape Wizard they look to be in stock at F'arts UK if Liberty Flights, Post Modern don't have them. www.flavourart.co.uk/view-all-flavours-24-w.asp

myaWhat happened to the '5'? On a more serious note, no one has suggested mixing only 3 or 5 ml, for testing recipes - if it goes wrong, far less to 'deal with'

Cherry Menthol perhaps if you're into minty flavours. I think I will have to invest in a few biscuity flavours then. I stuck to fruits to start with but think it's time to branch out into those more than 2 flavour receipes now. 2 more for the shopping list that sound versatile - thanks!!

I have a few old 5 ml bottles but I could do with picking up some 3ml for testing out flavours - good idea. I haven't come across any, but I'll have a scour on the sites stickied in the thread. It's gotta be done as I'm gonna be all cherried out at this rate!!

Let it steep longer, it will taste different in a few weeks, some of the stuff I made up tasted rank after a week steeping. Week later lovely.
