Hi All.
I am a member of a walking and talking club, run by AGE UK. Today 20 of us set off for a walk in and around Chasewater nature park. This walk of 6 miles lasted approx 2hrs 30 mins, by which time most of us were "knackered". We went to a local pub for lunch and relaxation. Bear in mind our ages range from 55 - 80 year old`s. After lunch having a chat, 2 of the older ladies, took out of their handbags, EGO 650 with CE4 clearo`s fitted and started vaping. I was gobsmacked; these ladies were vaping away enjoying their `strawberry & champagne` juice by Grizwald, ordered from Vapescape. I then took out my Vamo in 350 mode with the `spheroid` filled with `Grumpy`s Hooch`, they were very interested to try a Vamo and sample the `hooch` juice. They were chuffed I was chuffed.
Moral of this rambling: Vaping is just not for younger members of our community, and the usage is spreading to all age groups.
Happy vaping everyone.

jeffc... sounds like a good day out, and no, the youngsters don't have all the fun. I just hope fiddles doesn't read your post... he'll turn it into a 'swapping party' for 'old codgers'! Edit: Damn, just realised I've tagged him, so he'll be along soon

Whenever there's an age poll on the forum jeffc, there's always more at the top end than the bottom. I guess we realise that after 30 years or whatever of smoking it's time to stop!

Stands to reason though. People of our age and over are from a generation that started smoking in droves and have carried on all these years regardless. As Vereybowring just said we are now at an age where the years of abusing our bodies is catching up with us. We get a lot of people at our London meet, and I would say around 80% are over 40 at least. I also think there are big differences between the younger and older vaper. The younger being more likely to use vaping to quit nicotine altogether and us older ones resigned to the fact we are life long addicts due to the amount of years we have smoked. Either way, I am so pleased to see other people popping up in public doing it. The more it is seen, the more normal and accepted it will become.

Now that's what I'm talking about! older people using ecigs really brings my heart up a few levels. I am a carer for the elderly and infants and its great to see my older "clients" using ecigs. I have a few now. None of them want an ego or an E-vic, all happy with their 10-motives but its really great to see them saving their lives. Now if I could only get my stupid "alternative smoker" friends to get on em. They seem to be the hardest group to crack.
Regards Jez
