Been happily vaping away with my new vamo for the past week with my beloved evods, then i take evod off and the skirt is stuck in the vamo and the evod is naked with all its bits showing , panicked did a quick clean up and googled and got even more panicked, it's worse than googling a sniffle and ending up with a virus that only 1 in 40.0000000000.00000000000.0000000000 have got, anyways my vamo is now reading no matter what hat goes on his on his head 0.0 ohms, please tell me he hasn't got that virus and can anyone give me a remedy, gulp.

I was walking to work one day, and for some reason, I don't know why, I thought I would take my evod off. After taking it off, looked at it, and thought f#ck!! Juice all over my eVic. A very quick run back home, dry it as much as possible and refilled. The evod was rank afterwards, and seem to have restricted airflow, but a new head and it's all fine now.
I do now when I take it off, hold it upside down, so if only the tank comes off, it won't leak everywhere.
Back to your Vamo, I presume juice has got into the wiring, I would suggest putting it in a bowl of rice for a week or so (without a battery) but someone said the juice can damage it, and not just moisture, so I can't help further other than that. I guess soaking/flushing it out (without a battery) in water wouldn't do any harm as long as it's COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the battery.

I'm presuming liquid has got to the gubbins too, at first i was getting a 9.9 ohms reading, now it's jumping between 0.0 and 0.4, ta muchly for reminding me of the rice trick, worked great for an old mobby of mine.
