Your comedy of errors tale sounds fun though! at the end of the day least its your istick which went for a dunk and not a more expensive mod. Heres hoping you can resusitate it back to life, it is halloween......so a spell may work! Oh it was a fun night, i did cast a spell on the man species, but with very naughty words when he started laffin Eagerly awaiting my pink Istick Oh you'll love it, just as i did mine

After a comedy of errors on friday night involving a witch, a cat, a male variety person and a very nice glass of my beloved istick ended up in the bottom of said . I gave it a good shake (the istick) but it was deaded, put it in a bag of rice in airing cupboard and now it is showing some signs of life but only when it is on usb lead, but it will not 'fire'. Is there anything else i can do or is it just a matter of getting another and just sobbing.

I've always been very wary of forums, one simple question can descend into chaos, but here everyone is so helpful, above and beyond. . I can't believe how far i've come in the few weeks i've been vaping. Me repairing a vamo who'd a thunk it

I now know that i'll never be a brain surgeon, i knew that anyways as i'm the most cack handed individual on the planet, but i've just had one of the most nerve racking experiences of my life braving this centre pin, i had to put the vamo down three times i was shaking that much, then i had to go shut the windows as i was swearing worse than any laddo or laddette after a saturday night on the beer, but i've now got a working vamo with a brand new vivi nova sitting proudly on top

Just gorgeous soulutd there really is no excuse for doing those things to a dog. Even the most stupid of. People know there are places that will rescue them. They both were from a rescue, i had to go through hoops to get them rehomed to me. a shame some of the breeders don't do the same, they are known as sofa dogs, that's why i've got a permanent ridge right across my rear end from sitting on the edge of the sofa, its not a VPL honest

Here are my two rescues.............. cassie and Schmeichel, cassie had been locked in a shed for the first two years of her life, even switching a light on scared the heck out of her and schmikes was left in a house when his previous owners decided to emigrate and leave him chained to a radiator. Both great Danes

Hi soulutd. If you have an old cartomiser, that packed in, carefully pull off the 510 connector. inside the tubing you will find a `rubber grommet`, this is a perfect fit to squeeze in behind your Vamo centre pin. Be very careful when you `prise`/`lift` out the centre pin on the vamo, you only have around 10-15mm length of electric cable. Ease the grommet over the centre pin, then again carefully push the grommet and centre pin into the top cap. If you have any insulation tape, put some around the cable and bottom part of grommet, before pushing back into the top plate of the vamo. There are some photo`s somewhere on the forum showing this fix, try tips and tricks posts, or do a search. Sorry can`t be of further help. Good luck. jeffc Thanks for the reply, unfortunately i have no old cartos, that's the reason i asked for the size of the grommet, but you've been a great help, i wouldn't have known i only have around 10mm of cabling to play with.

I was walking to work one day, and for some reason, I don't know why, I thought I would take my evod off. After taking it off, looked at it, and thought f#ck!! Juice all over my eVic. A very quick run back home, dry it as much as possible and refilled. The evod was rank afterwards, and seem to have restricted airflow, but a new head and it's all fine now. I do now when I take it off, hold it upside down, so if only the tank comes off, it won't leak everywhe Back to your Vamo, I presume juice has got into the wiring, I would suggest putting it in a bowl of rice for a week or so (without a battery) but someone said the juice can damage it, and not just moisture, so I can't help further other than that. I guess soaking/flushing it out (without a battery) in water wouldn't do any harm as long as it's COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the battery. I'm presuming liquid has got to the gubbins too, at first i was getting a 9.9 ohms reading, now it's jumping between 0.0 and 0.4, ta muchly for reminding me of the rice trick, worked great for an old mobby of mine.
