think your right mine do look like the genuine version with the correct head unit wonder why they don't all have the evod stamp on them

Think it's something to do with how quick the supplier in the UK wants them, if they want them quicker they take the option for them not to be marked Evod BCC.

I have three of the fasttech ones, have used two of them, after a clean in the ultra sonic they are working fine, no gurgles, no bad taste(after a clean) and wicking great at 10 watts, I use 70/30 mix, love`em

If you're using 50/50 juice I would definitely take those extra little wicks out that are sitting on top of the coil, to get it going give it a few "primer puffs" (take a couple of gentle tokes on it without pressing the button) before vaping.

FastTech evods vaping fine here with DIY menthol (60PG/40VG), I re-build mine though as soon as I get them, with 2mm Ekowool & 5 wraps of 0.22 (AWG 31) Kanthal wire (about 1.5 ohms).

Tbh maybe 50/50 might be a bit too viscous for an Evod..never tried though.

Also, with an ego battery, you want your coil to be 1.8 ohms or less preferably  a 2.6 ohm coil really needs 4.5v or more to get the best out of it.

Well after a long(all night) soak in some denture tablets they are better. Still not as good as the mini vivi Novas IMO but will try rewicking one and see if that makes any difference.
I got my hubby to try one of mine and he said it tastes ok to him, so maybe it's me?
I think maybe I expected too much from them.
Thank you to everyone who gave suggestions as to what to do, as I said will be trying them all and will let you all know if I eventually get that wow moment lol
