Hi all,
Just been having a good vape with my new Evic & was wondering about the plastic head, has anyone fitted a clear cover around the screen area similar to a phone screen protector so it doesn't get scratch as I have found while using it you are wrapping your hand around that part of the head while vaping?

They seem to be quite robust, had mine several months now and no problems with the screen getting scratched.

I managed to put a scratch in one of mine when I was a bit over eager removing the micro usb plug but it mostly polished out again.

Thanks for all your replies, glad to hear it seems to stand up to the test of time, it was just a thought as so do most of the phones now a days but they like the iPhone/ipad are constructed with glass fronts.
Does anyone else who has a vamo find that the power seems a bit lower on the evic when set on watts? If so it must just be a characteristic I will get used to as the vamo is the only benchmark I can compare with.

I told you that is what would happen if you had those Swarovski gems put on to your finger nails

Thought it was just me, it seems i need at least another 0.5-1w more on the Evic.
Also the original plastic wrap around the head, i just used a bit of sellotape over the plastic to keep it in place, as i now bring the Evic to work with me.

jcol I have done the same for now with the protective screen cover left it on, you are spot on if I vape my smoke tank on the vamo it's about 10w on the evic to get the same hit its 11w, maybe it's because the vamo is a bit less refined but still a great workhorse for the price.

I also found the eVic sets wattage differently to a Vamo or Tesla. I have them set to 9W most of the time but have the eVic at 8.2W for the same hit with the same liquid and atty. It seems more accurate at testing the ohms as well.
