Hey Karma, one 10mg tablet of Cetirizine shifts mine for the day. They can be cheaper over the counter rather than pay the prescription cost. Hope that helps I know hey fever can suck..

I've never really suffered before! thankfully Mr K found some 'non drowsy antihistamines' lurking around the back of the cupboard!

My eyes are taking the hit big time. I take Priton but it just doesn't seem to be working. Think I might have to live in a bubble lol.

Ah... CHOO! Loratadine usually works for me. They are the none drowsy tablets, I've tried those too. There are some plug ins that are quite good.

I had to get a steroid nose spray from my GP the other week since the tablets have stopped working/aren't strong enough for me.

I had read that due to the late Spring there would be more hayfever about. I was really bad earlier, nose blocked and itchy, sinus pain, eyes swollen and feeling that my throat was closing

My eyes look like p**s holes in the snow at the moment lol. Very uncomfortable. I have been cleaning my eyelashes with saline to try and make sure there is no pollen on them. Sounds weird I know..I guess it is abit strange, but hayfever brings out any ideas to try and elleviate the symptoms.

That's what I use daily, along with Beconase nasal spray. Of course, that doesn't go in my eyes, unless I miss of course! Plus generic loratadine, as Clarityn is so expensive. I feel for anybody that has hayfever, damn horrible.

Most eyedrops don't agree with my eyes jess.
I have very sensitve eyes & I also wear contact lenses. A lot of eyedrops can't be used with contact lenses unfortunatly.
Can't even wear makeup at the minute, so I'm walking around looking very pasty with swollen bug like eyes lol.

Now that's a pain, in more ways than one, hissie. Howsabout chatting to your local pharmacist & see what's available that might be OK? Also, have you still got your glasses? Then you can maybe lay off the contacts for a while, until your hayfever calms.

Yeah I have some glasses. May have to try and not wear the lenses. Although I may have to see if I can get some prescription sunglasses tho'.
