I'm looking to upgrade a bit from my Riva 1100 batteries and want to try the VV type.

I like the size of the Spinner/Twist batteries and can't really afford to get into the serious mods.

Everyone seems to like them both so is either a bit better or is there something else of a similar price worth looking at?

+1 for a spinner. I had two twists and both of them snapped in my pocket. Never one to learn a lesson the spinner is in my pocket all day And isn't loose. Spinner has a knurled dial and clearer numbers. Don't like the button in the spinner. Twist has old ego button. Plastic treabore mint. Spinners is raised. But I can live with that. Spinner all the way.
