Morning everyone,
After the great initial advice I got last week we ordered and tried out one of the single blister pack ecigs and the wife and I have decided to jump into the vaping game and get ourselves set up properly.
I know you've all recommended the Riva 1100 Kit from Vape Escape but before I just dive in and order a couple of them I was wondering what the other options were, perhaps in terms of going a bit more teccy to begin with rather than spending this money now and wanting to upgrade in a few weeks.
We both like the clearo, we found it easy to fill etc so we want to stick on this route and the Riva kit comes with 5 carto's which we won't use.
Also, do we actually need a case?
I've looked at the Riva batteries on VE which are £13.99 and the Ego V3 clearos are £4.95 and the USB charger £4.75; so that would make 4 x batts, 4 x clearos and 1 x charger about £80 less the 10% discount.
But then I got thinking that it seems relatively easy to build your own kit from the different components and maybe we should just go down the VV route and get the good stuff that everyone is using on here straight away!!
So I was hoping you might come up with your suggestions of battery and clearo combinations that are a bit more advanced than the Riva Kit?
Look forward to your suggestions!!
Thanks

Evod spinner route is a good route I never have, but apparently you can rebuild evods. Even if you can't then you can get replacement heads very easily. One head should last a couple of weeks, so to keep it up and running is about £4 a month. So allowing for spares/accidents etc you shouldn't spend more than £10 a month on evods ....... unless you need every colour in which case you also need batteries to match every colour and it runs to a few hundred

Spinner + Evod = great piece of mid-range kit. You can get spare heads for the Evod for roughly £2 each, or rewire them if you are so inclined!

On VE they sell the EVOD bases for £1.95 - is that the replaceable part on the EVOD?
The same as buying the spare heads for the Ego V3?

Thanks Jen. Do you ever need to replace the whole EVOD or can you get away with just changing the atty heads when needs be?

You only need to change the whole Evod if you let it fall on concrete and it smashes and the mouth bit would cut if if you tried to use it. You only need to change the heads every few weeks (or in my case low vaper months)

What about battery choice? Vision spinner or Ego twist?
Would want one thats going to last the day - is there much difference between the 1300 vision and the 1000 ego?

Evods are more robust than most clearos, but accidents can happen When you are vaping you need to have spares available just in case, but evods are pretty reliable

On any battery the mah level tells you how long they last, so a 1300 will last longer than an 1000. I have a 1300 spinner and I wouldn't want to so without it, it is great

I have never had a spinner to compare. I love the twist. The higher the mah the longer between charges so the 1300 would last longer between charges than the 1000

I know in the long run we will need spares of things but to get us both started would we get away with:
2 x Spinners 2 x EVOD 1 x EVOD head pack (5no) 2 x USB charger
