Hi all, just wanted to pop back and give a quick review on the @ukflavours concentrates I've been using - Vanilla Custard, Pineapple and Cherry.
My ADV is VC and pineapple which I mixed at 20% total, 15vc 5p - the flavour is amazing, really sweet like eating a desert and I can't get enough of the stuff.
My alternative vape I made up was cherry menthol - 15% cherry and 2% menthol (made with menthol crystals dissolved in PG) and that is also a lovely vape - they really complement each other and I guess it tastes just like a cherry soother throat sweet if you're into that sort of thing!
My first venture into DIY a couple of years ago was a disaster but I'm loving making my own juice especially with how good it tastes - plus the fact I'm vaping a lot of juice now I'm sub-ohming.
I'm just about to mix up some juice for a colleague - I got her to order from UK Flavours but she's gone and ordered the triple strength version - Tutti Frutti.
Are you guys still maxing at 10-15% even with the triple strength? Should I perhaps start at 10 and see what she thinks first?

Good morning all,
Not posted for a long long time, but I'm still vaping and moving into sub ohm and diy juice all in one go!!
I've ordered some VC, black cherry and pineapple from UK flavours and wanted to see if the 20% mix considered in this thread is suitable for sub-ohm or if I should to reduce a little?
I've never ever vaped any custards before, tbh I've been vaping mint for a year as my current kit didn't give me any flavour from anything else.
I'm looking at a standalone for each of the flavours, perhaps with a custard/cherry and custard/pineapple recipe. I've also got some pg based menthol, made with crystals, so perhaps a cherry/menthol too.
I read that ukflavours are similar to if not the same as tfa/tpa and I've read other mixing threads where people mix at 10% for tpa flavours.
Any pointers would be great.
Thanks

Good morning all,
I'm a long time member of the forum but it's been over 2 years since my last post, but the forum was great for me when starting out so I'm back again.
I decided to get into sub-ohm so I've got myself an istick tc40w with a subtank mini on the way. I'm planning on using the rba on the mini with ni200 coils.
I used to rebuild my evod heads so I'm comfortable with rebuilds and I've got the right testing stuff for reading the resistance.
The one thing I've not decided on is nice strength. I've struggled to get down from 24mg over the last couple of years but I understand I can't be sub ohming at that level?
So I've taken the plunge of getting back into mixing too and have all the stuff on order, so the question is, what nic strength should I look to mix at?
I have in my head 6mg, but seems like a big drop to where I am now.
Any pointers would be great.

Right, well I've just had the spinner hooked up to a multimeter and the voltage is measuring ok - actually reads at 5.12v when the dial at the bottom is on the 4.8v level. So that should mean that the battery should behave as it should.
I just can't figure out where the difference is in the performance between the 2 especially when I'm using exactly the same evods to test on each one.

It wasn't like this when I bought it they both worked exactly the same. This has developed over the course of the last couple of weeks.

I've cleaned it and I've tried to pull the centre pin up a bit put it feels like it will pop off so although it moves I don't think I ever raise it up!

Morning all!
Hope everyone is well! I haven’t posted for a while but pleased to report still stinky free and both my wife and I have passed the 2 month mark now! Yay us!!
The reason I’ve popped back is to pick your brains, more so those who own a spinner, as I’ve got one that is behaving quite oddly!
We are both using Evods and they are all coiled to 1.9ohms but the performance of these differs greatly depending on which spinner they are attached to.
The one that my wife uses barely needs to be above 3.3volts and this gives a great throat hit and a really nice vape.
On the other hand, the one that I am using doesn’t even get close to that when it’s turned all the way up to 4.8volts – the only way that I feel I’m getting any throat hit at all is when I’m using a rather strong menthol juice and even then the spinner needs to be turned up to 4volts before I’m satisfied.
If the evod attached has our normal juice you can barely taste it and until the battery is cranked up to full you wouldn’t really know that you’re vaping.
I’ve tried all our Evods on both spinners and the results are the same so it must be something to do with the battery.
Any ideas boys and girls?

Siffy, I think I read (perhaps in the vaping diary thread) about you saying you needed to 'figure out what kind of vapour you are' and I think that's how I feel at the moment.

I have been at zero nic for about 3 months. I still vape away although not as often. I am thinking of cutting it out altogether just afraid if I do I will pile on the weight that is one of the reasons I continue. I also like it So did you do a gradual reduction to 0% or did you just go from nic to zero overnight? I totally get why people want to carry on doing it as a hobby and I did think at the beginning that I would too, but now I just see it as a means to an end (giving up nicotine) so I guess I'm planning my escape route.

Morning all, Is vaping a long term hobby for you or are you planning on becoming nicotine and vaping free altogether at some point? Also, for those who are either reducing or have reduced nic strength (and maybe reached the magic 0%) how were the withdrawals compared to going cold turkey from stinkies? I know I’ve only been vaping for 6 weeks but I’m already starting to think about how I want to move forward with it; I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t want to be a long term vaper and I just want to use it as a stop gap to becoming nic/vape free altogether. Part of me is thinking that I should go down the route of gradually reducing the juice strength and then stop vaping; the other part of me is already thinking about setting a vape quit date so I can just put my kit away and give up the nicotine and the vaping. Just interested how everyone else perceives their vaping.

We are both suffering from vapours tongue, all of the juice that we've got on the go is tasting like crap.
Well I'd say more tasteless than actually so rank I can't stand the taste.
Here' a little tip, if you haven't got any menthol juice (like me!), suck on a mint whilst you vape! It's the only thing that I've found brings out the flavour in the juice for me at the moment!!
It's not ideal but at least it's keeping me on the vape and not going back to stinkies.

I know what you're all saying and maybe I will change my mind in the future but at the moment I've no intention of trying again so I'd rather this gets used than just sitting in my kitchen drawer.
Now sold so I've marked as completed.
Thanks
