This is a very cool little 3.7v LED torch mod on a 510 fitting. Here you can see it on my trusty Riva.




Perfect for rummaging behind desks, under car seats and all those times you don't have a torch but you always have your PV kit handy.

I will be making an initial batch as per the pictures with steel casing and super bright white LED, ready from next week (01-07-2013).

A gift at only £5 each plus £1.50 p+p per order. Have just inherited a pile of Jiffy bags so am now able to drop the P+P to £1, woohoo!

Cool - much better than the one i got from TW about 3 years ago - tho Eddie occasionally deigns to play with the Laser pointer that came with it

Nice idea fella, I'm guessing it's an LED mounted in an old carto tube ?

I have the little LED torches attached to all my sets of keys for emergencies, plus the torch app on my phone, and a 21LED torch in my work jacket. I'd be up for one but I think I'm all torched out.

That one in the pic is a used carto as it's a working prototype but I have made a handful more with all new components.

I'd be up for one, would perhaps make good penlight for testing pupil reactions compared to the crap NHS ones.

The brighter the better really, then it only takes a millisecond flick instead of a faded light on the pupil for 2-3 secs, especially head injuries and strokes where unequal pupil reactions can be difficult to guage. Ophthalmologists use something similar albeit narrower to see behind the lens of the eye, and they hold it for ages while examining all areas.

Ah sorry raid. I thought it was ok just not brilliant. Do you want the other 2 i mentioned? Thats cool about the light.
